Dogs "got"it immediately. Very easy to use and effective.

Educator has been such an amazing company to work with! They replaced a transmitter for us, at the easiest and fastest turn around time ever!!! We love our collars! We won't use anything else!

I already have the 2 dog Educator collar systems so purchased this when I recently added another dog to train. The Zen version is distinctive so easy keep the "who’s on first” factor straight. I also love that the newer collars now have gone to the 1 pin charger port vs the 2 pin.

My 110 LB. GSD is stubborn and occasionally defiant. The ET-300 has been very effective at helping to curb these behaviors. The dog is actually happy to see the collar because he knows a good workout is coming soon. Collar has exceeded my expectations - it is easy to use and adjust. The tapping and night light features are very useful. I recommend this tool as a required tool to train any dog.

It’s intimidating to consider using an e-collar on your dog. You have to overcome any trepidation and just learn how to use it correctly. Once we did that, we decided that we do indeed like the Educator ET-300. It suits our dogs requirements perfectly. We LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the tone option because our dog responds to it so well. She hears it and does what she’s supposed to do because she quickly learned that it will be followed by a weird ‘szzt’ if she doesn’t. The few times we had to use it, she tilted her head slightly and then came right over to us. No yelping, no discomfort, just a "hey now, that’s weird and I’m not sure I like it.” The manual has some spelling errors that drove me crazy as an editor and made me think that the product quality would also be imperfect but that’s not true. The battery life is kick-ass and everything is well-constructed. I do wish the controller wasn’t round or bright yellow. I would like something that fits in my hand better and not be so glaringly obvious considering people’s attitudes about e-collars. I might look into the belt clip because I’m a short woman and hanging it around my neck is just irritating because it bangs against my belly as I walk. I did add a little clip to it to hang it from my belt loop and that works better for me. And finally, I would like to see each button have a very specific feel so you know you’re pressing the correct button (in our case the tone button) without having to look at the controller. One final comment: their customer service is top notch. That’s an impressive thing these days. Overall, I highly recommend this e-collar and this company. - Susan

I use the collar(s) mostly for off leash walking and reinforcing already trained commands.

Both of my dogs have been trained previously on remote training collars but I never wanted to use them very often because even on the lowest setting the dogs were obviously hurt by the static. With this collar they both respond to the vibration and if low level static is needed the respond immediately but with no yelping like they did with other collars. I just wish that this set up was made to expand to a third dog because this collar works great on my waterfowl hunting dog as well. I assumed it wouldn't really work on my hunting dog because collars have always been hit or miss but oddly enough she responds immediately to the vibration even when she is distracted.

Easy to set up and works great for different dogs. My Belgian Malinois is softer and this collar is perfect but also works great for the stubborn Jack Russel Terrier. Very fast to charge and a single charge easily lasts two days. I am considering purchasing the mini as well. Great product all the way around.

I love it! It is easy to use and easy to remember which buttons are for which dogs.

I have a very loving chocolate lab with a huge heart. He knows all the basic commands, but has a tendency to listen only when he wants. He also jumps on guests, making it very difficult to have friends visit. I purchased the mini educator, and within 3 days of training, my dog is listening to all commands, and no longer jumps up. Im truly amazed and extremely happy with my purchase!

think it would be helpful to include instructions for the use of the clip.. fortunately my trainer has advised but for a novice it might be difficult to determine how to use and is important for two dog system.. keeping hands free... thanks

Very happy with the Educator ET-300! When I ordered, I didn't realize there was a light on the receiver, but this really came in handy when we were camping last weekend! This has been a great tool in distance training! Very happy with the product!!

My husband and I both wanted to find a way to train our Brittany without using sharp punishment. We found a positive way to utilize a remote collar and she is doing well. However, we both decided to put the collar on ourselves because we wanted to know what she would be feeling while using the collar. It is supposed to be a more dispersed “tap” versus a sharp sting, but both of us agreed that beyond 10 it starts delivering a sting, not a tap like a tens unit. Considering it goes up to 100, this is quite a powerful collar. Having said that, she is doing well with her training and doesn’t seem to ever be “hurt” by the collar.
Also, some people claim the collar “burned” their dog or caused marks. Our dog has the most sensitive skin we’ve ever encountered with a dog, and we even have to buy special collars just so she isn’t rubbed raw. This collar, so long as it’s used properly and moved every few hours, has never even left a red mark on her. She wears it all day long, adjusting every 2-3 hours and taking it off for bedtime.
Overall, a great product. I just wish it were more of a tap than a sting, because my pup is a pampered pooch.

For some reason the regular collar would not work with my norwegian elkhound. Not for lack of trying on his part.

I purchased the holster to use with the K9-400 and I really love it. The clip has a very firm hold and can be clipped to a pocket without being loose. It's quite easy to use while in the holster. You do have to remove it from the holster to turn it on or off, and you can't see the readout window so making adjustments to the stimulation will take a little extra time to remove it from the holster but once you have it set where you use it most, it's very convenient,
