Having our pups trained using the Ecollar was the best decision we’ve ever made. We have 6 acres that are full of wildlife and those collars allow for our dogs to get all the exercise they need but at the same time keeps them safe. We can recall them at any time and they come running. It allows them so much freedom while keeping them under control and free from harm.

I have a stubborn but very smart German Shepherd. When he sees the yellow transmitter, even though the collar is not on, he knows to immediately obey! It’s a (dog’s) life saver😊

I have 2 other ones for our 2 other dogs. Yes u have to train your dog(s) this doesn’t happen over night, but the results are amazing!! You do not stop training either when your dog understands what’s going on, you keep it up. I am so happy with education collar. I do tell everyone what this collar can do for u.

I’ve used this collar for 2 years with my 55 lb Golden Doodle. I really like this model - the shape and size, and the three ways for communicating with my dog - Stim, tone and vibration. I usually only need a setting of “5” with my dog - which I like - a gentle reminder. The only thing I wished they would update is the tone level access. I cannot change the level on a MAC. I have a MAC and would like to be able to use a lower level tone available.

We found a wild puppy when we went to the Grand Canyon. Decided to keep him, he had a clean bill of health just real skinny. We sought out a dog trainer, and she suggested a shot collar from Mini educator. This made training so much more efficient. May I just say that their customer service is outstanding! My favorite thing is when I call to ask a question or about a product it is always a person! A physical real life person! My female German Shepherd will be 8 in August and she has been through at least 3 collars.The collar itself stops taking a charge. All collars were the same. I tried to buy directly from collar.com but somehow the purchase always gets rerouted to some subcontractor.

Like the product. With todays ability to buy online and get order quickly, I was disappointed in how many emails I got telling me it was coming, and how long it took to receive it.

I have educator collars for both my dogs. One of the collars seemed to be losing its charge. The collar was several years old. I presumed the battery was bad. When I went to the website I was confused about which battery replacement I should order. I called the company and spoke to a customer service representative. She was very helpful and explained which battery I should order. At a later date, after replacing the battery, I unfortunately lost one of the contact springs. I called again and spoke to someone who immediately sent out a replacement spring. My advice….don’t hesitate to called customer service. They are super friendly and helpful!

I originally bought this unit with the stop-watch design from Amazon and that particular unit was defective. It would not hold a consistent level - i.e. level 9 would a super mild stimulus to a moderate stimulus when no change to the dial had been made…that one went back (lesson always do thorough testing on one self prior to putting it on the dog). The EZ900 I purchased directly from this website, the oblong design and fits much better in my hand - the stop-watch design is awkward for my small hand - the one thing I do not care for is the level dial is difficult to move up and down one level at a hand…it kind of bounces 2-3 levels at a time - I need to use two hands and have my eyes off my dog for several seconds to change levels during our training sessions…depending on the day depends on how sensitive she is to the stimulation - I have to monitor and make adjustments every training session - once we get the minor adjustments done we are golden tho. My preference would be a tactile click to the dial so I could confirm the transmitter dial moving as the levels change. (On a side note I emailed customer service and Amber sent me a new transmitter thinking the one I had was defective, however it was exactly the same except the color had been swapped for black so I sent the new transmitter back.) Another design feature I don’t like is the pairing of the unit to the transmitter/remote each time you turn it on. This is a pain; often I forget to do this and have to struggle to get the two into paired after I put it on my dog…Other than these two issues I really like the product. It has micro-level increases with e-stim. I use it on my Labrador and feel the collar is a compact design, the hand held unit is comfortable. The hand-held unit has four button that can be programmed to the function you choose. The collar light turns green when a non-verbal command is given and the transmitter has a green indicator light that shows a stim/tone or vibration has been delivered. The collar also has a very bright constant or blinking white light for after dark use, tone works great, vibrate is also a great feature- I read in the description these also have varying levels but I have not been able to adjust either…I could be wrong on that. The transmitter can be turned off while the collar is still paired to it so you don’t accidentally send a random signal to your dog…I really like this feature…for me the battery lasts a really long time. I can use it for several hours/days without recharging if I need to. My dog has it on about 4 hours every day and I charge the unit once a week. It is easy to program and easy to use. I watched a random dog trainer on you tube to learn how to navigate the system…she made it easy.

This is a game changer in training your dog. My puppy responds beautifully with a low correction.

Our dog lost his original collar + transmitter in the woods. I wouldn't even think about replacing it with anything. This has really worked with training my German Shepherd.

We have 2 labs, brother and sister, same litter. He is rowdy and she is bossy. LoL The collars have helped so much training them. It's an on-going process, but worth the time and effort.

I needed to add an additional receiver for my second dog. Works great with EZ 900

The quick snap is very hard to get together to where it will activate both sides for a solid hookup! But seems to stay together once you get it although it has come apart a couple of times so makes you wonder. Like the adjust one time and done aspect of it though

After eight years, our ET 300 battery finally wore out. It was easy to find a replacement and the instructional videos made it easy to service it ourselves. We are very happy with the service.

For me a must have, it keeps my hands free and I don’t like it hanging around my neck

I like everything about this collar. I highly suggest you look up Larry Krohn on YouTube for instructions before usie, I also bought his book. I purchased this trainer two months before it was time to use it so I could learn everything about it. I have a cheap trainer as well and its lowest setting will light you up. I would never use it on my dog so it is trash.

Fits as intended, and is a lot easier to attach and take off then the collar the comes with the device originally. Easy to install
