The collar works like a charm. I now just have to say "come" when I'm walking and he stops sniffing and walks. I've taken him swimming with the collar on and it stills works. I'm more comfortable out in a field with him when playing ball. If he doesn't respond when I call him back, I vibrate him and he comes. Worth the investment.

First collar arrived FedEx in a ripped envelope, collar was damaged. No issue for Educator Collar! A replacement was in our hands within two days and damaged unit was returned. Thank you. I have worked with our Poodle for one morning. He is rather thick-headed and would finally respond when the unit was set on 9. One bleep is all it took for him to remember he was supposed to pay attention, which he did.

I tried a few different collars before I found this one- so glad I did! I love the durability of it and the stretch factor. I bought the smallest one and it did fit my little guy (a 10 lb Jack Russell puppy). It seems comfortable to him as well! Here is an idea for Educator: make a retractable leash with the stim button on it so you can use one hand for walking and correcting. How cool would that be?? Your product has changed our life and transformed my incessant barker and leash puller! Thank you!!!

I would give this product 5 stars but I purchased these as replacements. The receiver got water in it (after 2 years) and then the twist know broke off the remote. Two years is a decent amount of time but I was hoping for a little longer. If these only last 2 years, I will definitely re-buy again.

I absolutely love the concept of the mini educator. The continuous button is a great feature other e-collars do not have and it really improves the speed of learning such as down while in motion. I give this product 3 stars because my dog in one weekend of use had sores on his neck. I contacted customer service and they mentioned its possibly due to him eating from a metal bowl and the contact points being made of nickel that may have cause him to react to it. He has never had this with his PetSpy collar so I am not sure what exactly the cause. I did buy the hypo-allergenic contact points in hopes that this will help. As of right now I have not used the collar on him but I have with other dogs and they do not seem to have the same reaction. If this collar did not cause that reaction and had a tone option I would absolutely give it 5 stars.

We're very happy with the ET-300 e-collar. Our dog, 2 year old labrador retriever, has responded very positively to the collar. The transition to this collar has been smooth. Our dog wore an older e-collar in her earlier days but we decided to upgrade to the ET-300 to get more functionality. Would recommend one of these for any new dog owner with an enthusiastic, high-energy dog that just needs a little 'focus' motivation.

Worked as described. Please follow "ALL" instructions for using including letting your fur baby get acclimated to the receiver around its neck for a couple of days before turning on. Also remember to give praise, treats and love when a command is successful as you would with clicker or any other positive reinforcement training. We went from having a dog that was a hard leash puller and ignored the recall command when it pleased him, to a very well behaved leash walker in about three sessions. He can now walk leisurely without a leash and enjoys sniffing the environment without constantly looking for something to stalk. Of course he gets hugs and treats for positive behaviors, as always. Very rarely does he need to be corrected now. When it is needed, only the vibration mode is used.
