My student made a last minute change to attend a 4 year university. This late change in August left me very unsettled regarding obtaining a student loan to cover the university costs. I desperately called my local credit union who put me directly in touch with Granite Edvance. The Granite Edvance loan officer walked me through all of our options and provided calm expert guidance. I'm so thankful for Granite Edvance. The loan was in place in time for my student to start their freshman year at the university. Thanks to Granite Evdance!!!

First loan application never worked. Had a lot of trouble with the company accepting cosigner paperwork. After applying for a second loan with a different cosigner, everything went smoothly. Took a month or so for dispersment of the funds.

Overall, Granite Edvance was easy to work with and showed each step needed to finish applying and signing for our loan. The process took a little longer than expected because we had to wait for the system/GE to approve things during multiple steps. Other loan companies we have worked with took about half the time. Interest rates are also higher than other leading loan companies.

This is the 2nd year I utilized Granite Edvance for my student loan and the process was very easy and I have had no problems. The only downfall this year was the increase in the rate but I do understand the rates are up everywhere.

To be honest, I was surprised because some times in dealing with institutions, you don’t always meet with such courtesy. I’ve had a great experience applying for loans with Granite Edvance, and have received great rates as an NH resident. My only complaint is with the servicer Granite Edvance works with, Firstmark Services, as their customer service takes ages to respond to recurring issues regarding my loans. As for Granite Edvance, however, I’ve had no issues and customer service has been great throughout my time working with them.
