the reason i'm giving a rating of a 3 stars is because i had received conflicting information from the edvestinu representatives. i was told that i could go back and change my student loan payback plan from 10 years to 5 years after my application had been submitted instead of restarting a new application. but after i submitted, another sales rep said i couldnt change the payback plan since it had already been submitted. this was frustrating for me, but after all, i am not disappointed for having a more lenient pay back plan.

The website is super friendly. It walked me through everything. It's the after that had me all confuse. Seriously. I felt they were not transparent from the beginning. I had to call loaner company had to walked me through the entire process after I expected the terms. I guess EdVestin did their part.

It was my first time taking private student loan. I came across EDvstinU and found the lowest rate offer -still not that low but low enough for the first-timers. The process was straight forward. The UI experience was not quite at ease, I wasn't sure if I the docs I uploaded went through half the time but I let it slide and wait to see if there was any problem. Fortunately, all went well. The contracts were simple, clear and brief. All in all, I think it was a buttery-smooth process especially all processed online. Thanks again for your accommodation!
