All things considered it was very painless. I submitted the information that was asked for and then EDvestinU took over. The website is a touch clunky during the application process and it was, at times, unclear if there was anything left that I needed to do during the application process. Usually within a day or so I would get confirmation that you had everything you needed, though. I haven't had to run any payments or use the website for much since the loan was disbursed but after a cursory glance of the actual loan management site it looks like it should be painless.
