Kizer Coywolf Titanium Carbon Fiber Damascus (Ki3685A1)
Really like the old school design. The two tone Titanium and carbon fibre look fabulous with the damascus blade. The overall profile of the blade is also fantastic, single standoff at the back. Knife looks like it was designed to go with a Brioni Suit. The only downside I see is the Blade which I failed to sharpen to shaving sharpness like I did my other knives. Still plenty sharp. And with a knife as beautiful and unique as this, I'm okay with this caviat.

Kizer Mini Militaw Ti/Fat Carbon (Ki3634SA2)
This is one of Kizer's best knife. I like it so much that this is the second version that I bought after the Zr version, the blade is pretty much the same Color and finish as the titanium on the knife. Super smooth operation abiet the Zirconium one is smoother. S45VN, Nice flick action, beautiful carbon fibre, Cant get better. Very happy with this knife.

Kizer Tomb Aluminum Black (V3692A2)
Really solid Knife. The opening has a nice, lasting ting sound akin to a typewriter click which I adore. Very smooth operation. And quite comfortable considering the handle is a tomb. Would like to the Ultem version as well to show off internal scales. Nitro V is Nitro V.

Kizer Task Black 154CM G10 (V3641C2)
Great Knife. Has the 5 adjustment holes for the axis springs. It does open on its own sometimes with hard jerking. A little heavy for the blade length as well. Overall solid pick.

Hopefully the knife just needs a little more break in time to settle into a nice closed position. Thanks for the taking the time to leave a review.

Kizer Harpoon Fold Titanium Grey Matte DLC (Ki4784A3)
Picked up my first full-Ti folder from Kizer, and she’s an absolute beast. Packs plenty of size and performance, but carries so light and comfortable you forget it’s in your pocket
The first one I received had a bit of pivot lash, but the good folks at House of Knives looked after me right away. They swapped it out with zero hassle, and the replacement has been absolutely perfect.
My favourite part has gotta be that stupid thin hollow grind, slices like a hot knife through butter. Heck of a knife, and even better service

Kunwu Excalibur Titanium Stonewash (K709T-1)
One-piece handles on folding knives are a novel thing. Clever designs, coupled with recent advances in manufacturing technology have made them more accessible than ever to the average consumer, but they remain more of a curiosity, or an engineering flex, rather than a truly advantageous approach to knifemaking.
Nevertheless, to the connoisseur who chooses to afford it, they have a unique and undeniably satisfying feel to them, and the Excalibur is no exception. Even if it weren't an integral, a titanium frame lock with a Vanax blade is a winning formula.
The fit and finish of the knife is excellent. Every surface has been touched by a machining step. The checkered flats of the handle are pleasing to the fingers, while the smooth chamfered spine nestles comfortably in the palm. Ti-mascus pivot collars add a tasteful splash of color and style. An oversized choil provides multiple grip options.
Likewise the blade is equally well-finished, with both a fuller and a crowned spine, and jimping that is effective without being sharp or aggressive. No flipper, but dual thumb studs coupled with a blade hole provide a number of user friendly and fidgety opening options. The opening action itself is slightly bumpy, but still smooth enough to drop shut, and the lockup is crisp and reassuring with zero play. Everything you'd expect from a knife in this price range. Although the pivot action isn't quite flawless, the Skiff Workshop makes compatible aftermarket bearings that should ease the situation - for those truly obsessed with their knife's tactile properties.
One word of caution for those who are tempted, the one piece handle contains a lot of titanium, bringing the knife's weight to just shy of six ounces. This is more than it sounds like when you aren't holding it, and a lot for a knife of this size. Much of that material is in the tail end of the handle, which puts the knife's balance point only slightly forward of the lockbar stabilizer. This isn't necessarily a bad thing - many people like their knives light at the business end - but it's something you should know before you buy. Personally, the knife's weight isn't my favorite part of it, but the rest of it is so right that I'm inclined to shrug.
Speaking of the rest of it, this is my first Kunwu, and I'm very impressed. It is far from featherweight, and you should not expect it to disappear in a pocket, but it remains a skillfully crafted and capable workhorse that will do the job, and probably also turn some heads.

Vosteed Porcupine G10 Green Copper Dune Blade (A2623)
This is a great little Knife! The ergos / grip is fantastic. It’s comfortable to grip, fits well & good jimping. Mine arrived sharp and opens smoothly with no stiff or loose spots. The deployment is a little too free for me as I want some restriction. Overall the finish and build quality is top notch! It’s easy to carry and I have had it in my pockets for 2 weeks

CRKT M16-02DB Tanto Black (M16-02DB)
When I received the CRKT M16-02DB Tanto Black (M16-02DB) it had a problem with catching when closing if any pressure was applied to the blade before pushing the release button. Gave it some light machine oil and worked the release for a while and it no longer stops, catches.
If you push on the blade before the release you can feel the blade and the crossbar pressing on each other as they pass by. There is a noticeable amount of uneven resistance with small vibrations indicating that the two surfaces are not smooth. I don't know if the knife I received has a fault, or if this is a "feature".
This was the only fault I found with the knife though.
I like the heft and handle width, the blade opens with a strong assist, there is no play in any direction when open, the lock is strong and release is an easy thumb press.
I did back the button out by unscrewing it by about 1mm as I sometimes wasn't getting it depressed enough, added new locktite. The button still needs to be depressed below it's surrounding ring to release.
The large holes in the scales are a pleasing esthetic. They also can help with grip. We'll have to see if debris incursion is a problem.
The clip works, but can be a slight distraction when gripping the knife. The end does raise higher than some other similar clips. Very nice knife. I'd rate it 4.5 stars.
For my everyday the Kershaw Covalent and CRKT Sero are my favorite. They have a flipper to open, no assist. This makes them a little more legal in Canada.
Since there is no assist, when released, the blade can fall to a closed position itself.
They are lighter and thinner which is less obtrusive to carry. They also sit deeper in the pocket than the CRKT.
But when things get tough, I'd go for the CRKT M16-02DB Tanto Every time.

I love this blade and have been wanting one replace it for years. I used to carry one back in the 90’s and foolishly traded it. This time I got the straight edge which is scary sharp out of the box with gimping I don’t remember the original having. As I age I really see the ease of a one handed folder with solid lock up.
