Great little knife, but......

TOPS Knives Bull Trout (BLTT-01)
I love everything about this little knife, the blade shape, the handle shape amd material, the ergos are great but the quality control on the sharpening left something to be desired. First off it wasn't even sharp enough to cut paper and the tip of the blade was very uneven one side was around 22° while the other side was at less than 15°. I send some time on the stones with it and have it where its pretty nice. Still not perfect because of the tip but I'd say I'm 95% satisfied with it now. I'm surprised they allowed it to leave the factory with such a poor edge. Thankfully the steel is easy to sharpen.

Exactly what I have been looking for. A small edc with a mildly aggressive blade style. Minimalistic and practical, Inexpensive but not cheap.

Benchmade Mini Adamas OD Green G10 (273FE-2)
I love my full size Adamas but have always found it a bit of a beast. The mini Adamas completely addresses that issue. Same materials, same comfort in hand, same lovely design but smaller, lighter and a lot less intimidating.
On an entirely different note; I recently had a warranty issue with a knife that I had purchased from HoK. Initially it looked like the manufacturer was going to walk away and leave me holding the bag. I contacted HoK and was very impressed with the efforts their customer service department made to help me resolve my issue. It was above and beyond what I was expecting. Very impressive and thanks again

Vosteed Shilin Cutter Aluminum Grey (A2805)
This is an excellent knife/Vosteed has proven to be well worth it for the quality, fit & finish: its strong points being of course the classic blade shape itself in excellent elmax steel along with its new futuristic Vanchor lock which works wonderfully well with vault like lock up and fidget factor deployment options. Not to mention the satisfying acoustics …overall a unique stout folder -a great addition to my collection.

Kershaw Emerson CQC-6K D2 (6034D2)
The Emerson wave opener is great. It opens quickly and I haven't even cut myself once so far. The material for your pocket needs to be stiff, however. So, jeans work great, but the soft material of my usual short shorts don't open it.

Kizer Mini Militaw Ti/Zalium (Ki3634SA3)
This is by fat the smoothest knife I own, regardless of price range. I'm not sure if its the coating or the detent ball. This knife is just too smooth and you'd have to experience it to believe it. I ended up buying another carbon fibre version of the same knife. Snappy opening, super premium build and fit. One of the best from my collection no doubt. Would buy again any day. Congratulations to Kizer.
