I was pleasantly surprised to see the quality of such a knife produced by Cold Steel, before I had only previously purchased one of their knives being the Cold Steel Espada XL so I had high expectations for this knife as well as it was also another collaboration knife produced by Cold Steel with Andrew Demko.

The blade itself is incredibly sharp which is wonderful, the G10 scales are nice and grippy and the thumb plate works great when deploying the blade from a pocket. The Tri-Ad locking system also works incredibly well with this knife as it does with the Espada. I believe that for the price of this knife it's far greater of a purchase than buying Spyderco's Karahawk which is honestly overpriced for the benefits it offers. Cold Steel again uses much better quality steel and prices their knives accessibly for anyone who's interested in buying a quality tool. My only dilemma with this knife is that the pocket clip is ridiculously tight, so tight that if trying to use it on anything relatively thick it will either puncture the material or not work on it without having to use a secondary tool to lift up the clip.

That being said the knife is wonderful and House of Knives service was also wonderful, they got it shipped and delivered at an outstandingly fast pace and the product came completely undamaged and in original packaging, sealed properly.

Quality piece of hardware. However it sits quite proud in the pocket, definitely needs a deep carry clip.

Perfect size for my pockets (jeans or work pants).

Easy to open - thumb stud works great.

Came with a great sharp edge.

Won’t hesitate to recommend to others.

Love it
I had to get another one

Fast shipping, great price. Blade is very sharp out of box and quality is just what you'd expect from Spyderco.

Well made but a bit on the pricey side....wanted it anyway....button lock is slick and solid

I was on the "bench" about Benchmade for years namely, for their price tag. I decided to break down and buy a Benchmade Griptilian 550(base model, sheep foot configuration)last summer. My initial impressions were the scales on the handle felt cheap because it is "Grivory" a.k.a plastic. I EDC'd it for a month and my attitude towards it changed significantly. It performs extremely well. This Osborne 940 performs on the same level, the reverse tanto blade is really sharp and has good edge retention. There is no hot spots on this knife. The ease of opening, the lockup, the jimping on the back of the handle and the choil and the placement of the thumb stud slightly adjacent to the Ricasso of the blade. The result: maximum cutting length. Thumb studs that are not placed properly on a knife can be a hinderance. However, this thumb stud is properly placed. The blade detent is very good. I decided to go with the g10 scales handle model one instead of the original aluminum handle model. I not a fan of "snail trails" which tend to form on aluminum handle knives due to abrasion. This knife has been a flagship staple for the company for 24+ years since it's inception in the year 2000. I also bought a shot show Osborne 2024 945 in S90v. Hats off to Benchmade and to the late master knife maker Warren Osborne for such a fine pocket knife. Well worth the money.

Little big for EDC but overall very happy.

Looks amazing and easy to keep clean

I bought this knife a few months ago but recently gave it away. A friend was carrying a cheap gas station knife that wouldn’t stay closed so I gave her this.
I carried and used it some in that time, doing small daily tasks. My daughter and nephew put it to work outside one day, making sticks for hot dogs and marshmallows. Also making a bunch of feather sticks for practicing their fire making. The blade and everything held up very well, just gave it a strop it. I love the stone wash and the sound the knife makes when opening and closing, great action. The only complaint I have is the pocket clip, it feels horrible in the hand. If not for that I’d have given 4 stars. I will definitely buy another QSP knife.
House of Knives is top notch.

Absolutely love them. Super sharp and really nice looking.
Very happy with them

I bought this knife a few months ago, within the first 4 weeks both omega springs snapped. It came with replacements, but one was very rusty. I contacted Vosteed about this and they sent me 4 omega springs, which I got today. 3 of them are for the same side and one is pinched, making it unusable as it would not hold up under daily use. I’m giving 3 stars for Vosteed’s quality control on their omega springs. I love the knife otherwise and would have given it 4 stars. The ergonomics are great, the blade holds up with use, the micarta look and feel really good. I think I’ll get the button lock version and give this one away.
My review is in no way a reflection of the service I was provided by House of Knives. I will definitely be purchasing from here again.

Tracked my package and it’s was last updated on the 24 of December and emailed ups and it’s considered lost. It’s January 9th now. Filed an investigation process through ups to hopefully soon receive my knife. Not sure what star to leave since it wasn’t on you guys, and still don’t actually know how the knife is.

This a fabulous tool, the sharpest knife I've ever had and a pleasure to work with.

I bought this knife to test out the famous "CPM Rex 121" steel. I have to say this steel is indeed impressive. It cuts extremely well. I watched a youtube celebrity who does knife videos, cut sisal rope over a 1000 cuts with a knife that had CPM Rex 121 for a blade.. it still retained a factory edge! I won't be doing that with my knife, but that's pretty cool. I also read this steel is so hard it can cut glass! It's part of my EDC rotation and it It's part of my ever growing Spyderco collection. I have Maxamet, CPM s110v, CPM Cruwear, CPM 15v, K390, M390, M398, Elmax, Magnacut and CPM M4 Spyderco's...this is the sharpest. It has a rockwell hardness over 70! Awesome knife! Buy one! You will be amazed!! TY Hok!

Really nice

It is a nice compact sharpener. Unfortunately it wasn't able to sharpen my dull knives adequately.

Delivery on schedule and knife exactly as described and expected. VERY sharp blade. Very well-built knife for every day carry.

Very nice , I am impressed at how sharp it came

A good, very small knife. Fits great in a fifth pocket.
