This is a great folding knife. It is well made and performs without issue. The case on the other hand did not fit as it was too tight and does not perform as advertised.

Shun Hinoki Cutting Board

Shun Hinoki Cutting Board - Med (DM0816)
What can one say? It's a cutting board. However, most cutting boards are side grain hardwoods which are very damaging to the knife edge. This one is, at least, quite a soft wood (I checked with a hardness meter) compared to a side grain cherry or maple.
This board is a good compromise between a traditional edge grain board and the Holy Grail, which is an end grain board.

Benchmade Osborne Black (940-2)
Surprising how well such a small knife fits in your hand, almost inexistent in pocket and fits nice and solid even in large size hands, and very happy with the quality of benchmade knives, this is my third one and not my last,i also purchased two as xmas gifts this year.

QSP Parrot V2 Micarta Denim (QS102-F)
Nice clean design, Micarta is excellent quality although a little greyer in color than I expected. Blade is sharp out of the box making this a nice addition to my EDC collection.

Yeah denim micarta can definitely fluctuate, the oils from your hands/ daily use might darken the colour a little bit over time though!

Work Sharp Pivot Plus Knife Sharpener (WSEDCPVP-I)
I watched a video produced by a representative of Work Sharp and he recommended not using one. He wasn't sure why they are still selling them. I will be returning most of the ones I bought and will be purchasing a different style of Work Sharp sharpener.

Kershaw Bel Air (KE-6105)
Kershaw belair had wonderful action straight out of the box and a nice sharp edge. Pocket clip sits it fairly deep in the pocket and completely disappears into the pocket so a great every day carry. Great price for magnacut and good materials. I'll take this every time over both the bugout and the hogue deka. Cheers
