Benchmade Mini Adamas Carbon Fiber (273-03)
I purchased this knife after lengthy research and much consideration of the steel and the construction of the knife. I have several other Benchmade pieces and every one is exceptional in every way. This knife is a solid, strong, gorgeous EDC item that is well worth every penny of its price. It fits perfectly in my hand (glove size 11) and carries very nicely in every pocket I have. The steel is drop-dead gorgeous and hones beautifully to a razor edge. There is not a single thing that I can criticize about this knife. Buy one and enjoy it. PK

Fiskars Folding Saw 7" (G393680)
Surprised the teeth were stamped, not ground in. Inexpensive feeling plastic and not durable by its feel. Missing Fiskars trademark rubber grip, definitely a knock off.

Kizer C01C Sheepdog FatCarbon (Ki4488AC1)
I love this knife and I love Kizer so much. This is my third Sheepdog and definitely my favorite. The beautifully coloured Nebula fat carbon scales are a knockout paired along with the black S35VN blade make this one quite the looker. The thumb stud/opening hole combo and the adjustable clutch lock are awesome and makes this knife super fidgity. If you a fan of Kizer’s Sheepdog series then this one will definitely not disappoint.

CIVIVI Vision FG Polished Ultem (C22036-5)
I am very happy with this knife. The look and ergo’s are great and it’s super fidgety. Great blade shape and snappy action. Wasn’t sure about the Ultem scales but they are really growing on me. Civivi really out did themselves on this one. The only small neg thing I can think of is that the thumb studs could have been placed better or had a bit of a cut out on the scales for easier access. Still accessible and usable just could have been a bit easier to get at. Don't wait on this one! Get it now, you won’t regret it.

Thumbstuds can be quite the conversation and debate, glad it doesnt make the knife a dud for you though!

CIVIVI Ti-Bar Champagne (C21030-3)
Very small compared to pictures.. Really good for scraping off stickers, paint markers while walkiny aroubr and minor prying, can't open up beer bottles tho by prying so that's a miss, maybe if they made a fat boy version i would give it five stars. Great concept but it's just to dang small to be practical for me.

SENCUT Hyrax G10 Black (S23097-1)
Exceptionally content with this outing from SENCUT. The large wide blade makes for excellent slicing, with a strong tip for poking and piercing, made easy with the blade grind used. Flipper activation is wickedly fast, and the G10 handle provides superb grip, even though this is a three fingered gripper as I have XXL bear paws. The Hyrax has become very quickly one of my favourite knives.

Messermeister Carbon Chef April Bloomfield Chef's Knife 6.5" (CS686-06)
A few years ago I purchased the Messermeister Kawashima 8 inch chef knife and use it professionally on an almost daily basis. It is my favourite knife out of my collection. So, when I recently discovered the Bunka series I decided to purchase the 6.5 inch Bloomfield Chef’s knife.
Aesthetically, this knife is absolutely beautiful. The lines, angles and artwork really make this something special. The handle makes this knife easy to hold and work with. One thing I was surprised by was the weight. This knife has some heft to it and feels more like a German knife than a Japanese knife. The blade, on arrival, was razor sharp as to be expected. In my knife technique I tend to favor “drawing lines” and this knife does that exceptionally well. It also has the ability to do a shallow rock but you have to keep it low or the tip of the knife will catch and stick in the cutting board. I would absolutely recommend this knife to anyone who needs a smaller chef’s knife and who would enjoy the German/Japanese feel and aesthetic. Cheers
