Victorinox Swiss Classic Steak 4.5" (6.7233.20-X3)
More uses than for steak. It's extremely sharp and slices tomatoes and kiwis paper thin. The blade flexes a bit to dig out pits. I hope they will make the knife in different colours than black so I don't have to dig for it.

Victorinox Swiss Classic Paring Knife 4" Serrated Orange (6.7736.L9)
Such a handy knife for many kitchen purposes. Don't let the short blade stop a purchase, it's handy for fruit, vegetables, buns, dicing and slicing extremely thin. The colourful handle is also a bonus.

CIVIVI Praxis OD Green G10 Black Blade (C803F)
My first quality knife. Used to buy the cheapest at big box stores and just toss them once they break. This knife is hands down the nicest I have felt in the hand. Blade looks thin but I can tell you it is definitely tough. I shouldn't have but I actually used it to split a cedar board with some light batoning. Everything stayed tight and the edge still shaves. Now I'm looking to start a collection. Different colour for every outfit lol

Secrid Miniwallet Original Ice Blue (M-Ice Blue)
This brand has always been top quality. Supple leather, quality materials, solid construction and engineering. There are cheaper imitators out there whichh do the job but the difference is huge when side by side. The Secrid leaves you confident that it will last and look and work as well as the day you bought it. The Ice Blue colour is really sharp in person too.

Buck 385 Toothpick (0385BRS-3137)
Very very nice a little smaller than I imagined but very handy for the pocket a really nice shape blade. My only complaint is the cost of mail. This makes four buck folding knives in my collection, but this one is in my pocket signed John Hutchings.

Work Sharp Edge Guide for Knife & Tool Sharpener MK.2 (PP0004543)
The guide works very well but a bit of experience helps. Biggest problem is operator putting too much downward pressure thus marking guide. Use less pressure and all works well.
Response from House of Knives
Mar 11, 2024
So very true! pressure is probably the most common mistake with every kind of sharpening unit.
