Bought it as a gift. The person loved it. Great quality

Perfect knife. Great size

Tried three different knives never got any of them sharp.awkward as hell going to stick with a oil stone

I purchased the add-on set which gives you an extra coarse and extra fine diamond plate and a leather strop. IMO, the add-on completes the sharpening system by giving you a more complete progression of grits. The diamond plates are of excellent quality: no raised spots or burrs on the edges. Always use a very light touch with diamond plates. The plates will handle basic softer steels (like found on CaseXX) and high hardness super steels like M4, CruWear, CPM20CV/M390 etc. The strop is a good idea for finishing or touching up an apex. It came with green compound but I chose to load mine up with 4 micron Stroppy Stuff emulsion. The strop material is rather porous so expect to use a lot to load it up. The ceramic rod is a bit on the small size but also a nice part of the grit progression. (Probably around 1,000). The guide comes with 20 and 17.5 angles which are completely removable if you want to free-hand or use the full length of the plates.
I use this system on smaller knives and when I don’t want the fuss and mess of taking out and setting up my Chosera whetstones. (Note: there is very little feedback on the diamond plates compared to Japanese whetstones.)
Overall the quality and design is excellent and this makes a nice mid-sized sharpening system that can handle any kind of steel you want to sharpen. Always remember to use very light pressure on diamond plates-let the diamonds do the steel removal. Your plates will last a lot longer and yield better scratch patterns/results.

This is the best friendly EDC gift.

One of my best motivational reviews....
A heavy duty working every day carry utility blade.
Probably a little bit thick for food preparation but still acceptable.
It is ready to perform severe tactical requests with the ability to underline the toughness and rigidity of the blade material structure and shape.
Blades like this one show up on the market once in a few years and knife professionals need just seconds to realize that fact after the first contract with the cutter...
Civivi's engineering team could redesign and manufacture an improved tanto version with serrations, glass persuator at the end of the handle including hexagonal opening for quarter inch drive bits, adding multitool features...
That would be the exact personal protector and survival expert.
Strongly recommend !!!

Kizer is well known for quality in their fit and finish. This is Ti XL is a perfect example.
The action is super smooth, crisp and solid. The ti scales are nice and chamferred there's nothing sharp about it and the ti clip is very springy.
Blade steel is fantastic and is perfectly ground.
As a whole I always include price, this would have been five stars if it was cheaper.

Excellent quality and prompt delivery.

This was on my husband's Christmas list. He loves it. It is just what he expected.

The gift was received with delight. He was overjoyed at seeing it and is excited to start using it.

Major update to the original

Great little knife pouch for the money

Benchmade has always been my go to for folding knives. So when my daughter asked for a quality pocket knife I knew it had to be a benchmade. House of knives had great selection and service and got it here in time for Christmas.

Wonderful paring knife. Sharp and easy to use knife. Every kitchen needs a go-to knife like this one. Would highly recommend this knife and brand.

Well this is my go to tool kit when I’m outside and not in my shop. Just a really good all around number of tools to cover most minor repairs. It’s solid, maybe a little heavy, but u get lots of leverage for the small tough jobs.

I love my pyrite there is nothing negative to say about this knife. CJRB got me interested now. I had a lago and really liked it but it might get taken out of rotation now I think it’s gonna bring an Ekko into my collection I’m totally loving these CJRB button locks and the quality of there knives for the price has me disappointed by other brands that I have several models of in my collection.

I recently received the redemption folder from house of knives and was extremely pleased . Being a knife maker for the past forty five years , Mostly fixed blades, my expectations for fit , finish and workmanship are very high. Couldn’t be more pleased. It’s perfect in every way. Thank you house of knives for handling this knife. Will purchase another one as soon as they are back in stock.

Nice knife
