Praxis, Even Better!!

CIVIVI Button Lock Praxis Aluminum Black (C18026E-1)
Absolutely blown away by this Praxis!! Been carrying the black Micarta version daily for a while now, and when I got the email from House of Knives that this was available, it was a no brainer, purchased immediately! Everything I could ask for in an upgrade to my EDC. Black aluminum scales, better blade steel(Nitro-V) and a button lock... I'm absolutely ecstatic! Thanks again House of Knives, as usual another easy transaction.

The actual product is very nice, good grip on handle and had a good weight and came sharp, however the blade is covered in sticky spots after shipping.

CIVIVI Elementum Shredded Carbon Fiber with Copper and Damascus Clad Blade (C907C-DS3)
Knife looks good but thats where it ends. Very lightweight and kindof flimsy. Handle feels very cheap. Blade holds an edge but I would not apply much pressure as Im afraid handle will break. Overall poor purchase

CIVIVI Mini Praxis G10 OD Green (C18026C-1)
Obviously great product. And the canvas pouch-case is a nice way to carry a harmonica (since nobody uses it to carry a pocket knife anyway).

Hahah great point! But ya never know. Like that random piece of wood in the garage, the pouch will find a use eventually!

Fantastic knife I acquired as gift for Christmas. The buyer (my girlfriend) had no issues with HOK and we love you! Shipping was great and civivi just can't miss on quality and that purple handle? Like come on!! Fantastic knife and I have three other civivi's in my cart as I write this review. Highly recommend civivi, highly recommend the cogent and 100% recommend HOK!!

Kershaw Blur - Black Blackwash (1670BW)
This is a really great knife at first view. I have large hands and I like how it fits my hand. The spring assist is amazing and the blade launches very fast. The edge is very sharp and I cannot comment on longevity as I just purchased it but seems to be a very solid piece.

Kizer Lieb Black G10 (V2541N5)
It's a fantastic EDC. The sheepsfoot blade is excellent for opening boxes and general knife work. The flip opening works extremely well and the liner lock makes for a very solid, stable blade. The ball bearings break in quite quickly and make for an easy folding knife. It's a great size for the pocket, too. Don't expect a full-size handle. That's not what it's for. Great product!

Work Sharp Professional Precision Adjust Knife Sharpener (WSBCHPAJ-PRO-I)
I have the Work Sharp Pro and love it so far. It’s easy to setup and use. I have settled on a blade angle of 18 degrees and have found it a little slow in establishing that angle using the 220 grit insert. Once that angle was established the system allowed me to progress through the remaining grits quite quickly. The results with 4 different lengths of knife blades have all been excellent.

Defective magnacut steel?
Verified Buyer
Kershaw Dividend Aluminum Black MagnaCut (KE-1812BLKMAG)
I have many different Kershaw knives that I am very happy with and enjoy using. This is not one of them. I have been a fan of magnacut steel lately for its toughness, edge retention, and fairly easy sharpening.
This blade however does not live up to the magnacut I am used to using. After light cutting tasks, boxes and tape etc and no staples or anything in the boxes, the blade got a chip in it 1/3 the way down from the tip. I tried sharpening it to to remove the chip, and when doing so, the tip broke off. Very brittle for some reason. Perhaps a bad batch with poor heat treat from Kershaw. First poor quality steel, especially higher end powdered steel i ever received from Kershaw. I bought a Leek in magnacut, the limited edition Edge Leek and I am afraid to even use it should the same thing occur. Quite disappointing but no fault of the House of Knives which always has stellar service.

WE Knife Co Limited Edition Kitefin Titanium Black Gold (WE19002M-1)
The kitefin is an excellent EDC. It has flawless action and feels great in hand. However, this black and gold version is so visually stunning, it's basically a collection piece. Add the fact that it's a limited edition and the last thing I want to do is run it through cardboard. Solid WE knife, amazing quality for the price tag. Extremely happy with my purchase.
