Very impressed with the knife. Good value. The recoil lock is very smooth and is good fun to play with. I am quite pleased with my purchase.

Love hearing that. Sounds like this one has been a fun addition (I too love a good fidget!), and we appreciate you choosing HOK.

Nice Blade, Terrible Handle

Kizer Rook Micarta Green (1090A4)
Great utilitarian blade and wellade. Sadly, the knife uses a four finger handle design but at a three finger length. Makes the knife awkward to grip. A half in longer on the handle would have made a world of difference.

CJRB Acacia FRN Black (J1952-BK)
Good solid knife, in my rather extreme useage I broke one of the two omega springs, the tip, and the top strap of the "cutout". Still worked well, and like I say I'm hard on equipment.
This is very much a svelte lightweight knife, feels much more premium than usual slop I buy. Only downside I'd mention is the omega springs/lock are a bit stiff at first.

Love it! Classy look, opens with ease. Super sharp out of the box. Feels like a solid, quality instrument.
It’s my every day pocket carry, so handy!

SOG Flash AT Urban Grey (11-18-05-57)
This knife sits nicely in the pocket, it's an EDC for me. The assisted opening feature is strong, and the best I've felt in comparison to some others I have tried. I have always been a fan of SOG and this knife doesn't disappoint.

Spyderco Reveal 17 Slym (C271TIP)
Spyderco has really nailed it with this one! I’m not a fan of plastic on a knife so I have been hesitant to use spyderco knives for years. My yearly tradition of buying a new knife has been satisfied with this Lionsteel coop and it is amazing! So light in my pocket and the fit and finish is second to none. It’s expensive and it still feels like a good deal once you hold it in your hand.

Kizer Phoca BD Norplex UltreX Micarta Black (V3781BDA3)
Recently, Kizer has produced numerous models featuring a top liner lock and a consistent 3/4 blade-to-handle ratio. They are all excellent EDC knives. I chose the Phoka specifically for its Canadian-style blade shape, and I wasn't disappointed. This knife is a real slicer, featuring a warm, comfortable handle and a beautiful Damascus blade

I've been meaning to swap my cold steel birds and game with this for everyday work. sadly the bike chain handle means i cannot bear down on it when cutting straps. Its a great back up just not what i needed. still its built really well and super sharp out of the box

Spyderco Reveal 16 Native 5 Micarta Brown (C41MPCW5)
First off, ergos are great, especially choked up. Stock clip is what it is, you either like them or you don't. So mine has the stubby stonewash Lynch which I ordered at the same time and it fits perfectly. Overall, it's a great little knife.
But, I must have gotten a Monday knife. This is the first Spyderco that wasn't a razor out of the box. This particular one came with a burr so bad, that it was obvious by looking at the edge. I had to use a stone in order to get rid of it as it gouged my strop almost destroying the surface. With the burr gone, it's your typical Spyderco, a great knife.

I purchased this knife to replace my CRKT CEO Flipper that I recently lost.
I’m absolutely thrilled with the build quality and ease of use of this knife. The flipper is smooth and easy to operate, ergonomics feel natural, and the blade is razor-sharp out of the box. The Micarta inlay might be my favourite feature–the texture is satisfying and helps promote a better grip. The titanium is a beautiful colour and pairs nicely with the inlay and MagnaCut steel. As an added bonus that I wasn’t expecting, the knife is incredibly lightweight, and makes so much sense as an EDC.
There’s nothing I would change about this knife, and I’d recommend it in a heartbeat.
