First impressions. Right out of the box this knife is ridiculously sharp. The action is smooth with a little working in and the micarta handle is comfortable

Kizer Drop Bear Fix 7 Micarta (1103A1)
I love the thick blade! Great camping knife . From cooking to shaving wood to start fire. Grip has so many great holds and not slippery when wet! Blade maintains edge well. Can’t wait for fall for a bigger outing and more use!

It's sharp, deploys perfectly, and has zero play in the blade. There's nothing I don't like about it.

Tenable Bombur G10 Black with Frag Pattern (T1054A1)
So I bought the knife because of my love for over built knives. I have always wanted a Midgard Messer but obtaining one has been a challenge. I wanted this knife because of the logo and I got what I paid for.
That being said. This is not my go to knife. It has some issues. My first and biggest is the pocket clip. Good luck clipping anything down with that thing. First thing I did was take it off. Second issue is the handle gets in the way of sharpening. Trying to get a ceramic rod or grind it on a stone can be a challenge thanks to the finger groove.
Over all it's a well built knife. Nice handle, Comes sharp out the box, thick spine and nice opening action.
I like it but it is not without its flaws, which is sad because over all its a well built knife.

Thanks for such a thoughtful review. Sounds like there was a lot to like, along with a few things that kept it from being a home run. We appreciate your honesty, and for choosing HOK.

CIVIVI Clingman Milled Guibourtia Wood (C23065B-DS1)
Really impressed with this civivi clingman, fit and finish overall is above most in this price point and the titanium pocket clip is a nice addition. The blade is etched beautifully and core steel is centered all the way to the tip of the blade. Smooth action and easier access to lock over the earlier version clingmans
