CRKT Razel Compact (4036)
knife itself: 10/10
sheath: 6/10
Great little blade, could've made the proportion a little bit bigger for a better hand grip and use, for my tastes. Only used it on a steak so far, so not much of a test, but it was going through it like a scalpel.
The sheath is good looking, sturdy and safe, but my problem with it is that it holds the knife near the edge part of the handle yet the sheath covers almost all of the handle, "forcing" you to use the lanyard to pull it out one handed. it's also not reversible. I was thinking of shortening it a bit, but I would loose the ability to use the non reversible belt clip if I did. I wish the sheath was more like the one on the SPEW where you can grip the handle of the knife no problem with or without the lanyard.

Grohmann #3 Boat Knife Micarta Stainless with Sheath (M3S)
The Grohmann No.3 Boat Knife is a handy utility fixed blade that's a bit of Canadiana and Grohmann have been the company that defined the Canadian belt knife style. This made in Canada knife was once the issued jump knife of the Canadian Airborne for over 30 years. For a lot of people who need knives in their daily lives, huge knives aren't very practical, but something like this knife is a good fit. The Micarta handle feels good in the hand and the angle of the blade is well thought out.
The stainless steel is all right and equivalent of what you'd get from a Buck blade. I got the stainless because it was a "Boat Knife", but I'd recommend the carbon steel ones, as they're better at everything (like edge retention and toughness) other than corrosive resistance. It really depends on where you're planning to use it, to choose between the stainless and carbon steel, but I'd lean towards the carbon.

CIVIVI Praxis Black Carbon Fiber Copper Shreds (C803I)
I bought this Knife for my wife, not realizing how big it is. She loves it but finds it too big. Now this knife is my collection and I am looking at a Mini Praxis for the wife. Details in the handle are very nice and it has the very smooth action you would expect from Civivi.
