Grohmann #1 Micarta Carbon with Sheath (M1C)
Shipped across country in 2 days. Razor sharp out of the box. Feels great in the nand. Quickly dispatched a couple of trout on my first fishing outing of the season last week. Happy to buy from a Canadian manufacturer. Strongly recommend both seller & product.

WE Knife Co Soothsayer Grey Titanium Black Twill Carbon Fiber (WE20050-1)
The WE Soothsayer is an epic knife. It instantly become my favourite knife. The fit and finish is impeccable, I’ve spent a fair amount of time admiring this knife in close detail and I can’t find a single flaw. Even the sound it makes when opening and locking is beautiful. Light, well balanced, fits my large hands nicely without being a large knife. I heard somewhere that the carbon fiber scales had a moisture wicking property, and I can say that even with sweaty hands this knife still offers a great deal of grip. I’ll definitely be buying another, with the foil/fiber scales.
I highly recommend this knife!

CRKT LCK + Large (3810)
Although an alright cutter with a decent factory edge, this knife was a waste of money. After about 10 days of VERY light use, the spring assist failed. The spring that assists the blade open snapped and now the knife won't open or close properly. So definitely don't get this knife if you want a reliable pocket knife.

Kizer Sheepdog Mini C01c Slipjoint Micarta Black (V3488C6)
Not what I expected. Thought the action would be the same as the large one but it is not. No lock when open. Could easily close on you.

Cold Steel Large Luzon (CS-20NQX)
Still feels like a monster of a knife. But in the first week of handling it, opening it in different ways. It over extended and slipped the sliding lock all the way over to the other side. Leaving it locked, with the blade out. Until I force the lock back. I’m hoping it’s just this particular knife and not a design flaw.

CRKT Provoke Compact (4045)
House of knives had a great selection and variety to choose from. Thoroughly enjoyed shopping on their site. Hard to find certain niche items at regular stores. I ordered the CRKT provoke compact and within the same day it had already been shipped and I received it way faster than I anticipated. It came brand new still in original packaging and incredibly sharp. Really happy with my purchase, and will for sure keep house of knives at the top of my list any time I’m looking for a new blade.
