Well built knife. A little slick in the hand, but no hot spots. Definitely added to my EDC. Hopefully it holds up to abuse. I do prefer the original more though.

Poor Handlng of the situation

Cold Steel Full Metal Atlas Clip Point (CS-FL-35FMB-SA)
I ordered a Cold Steel FM-1 knife priced at $326.99, I received a Spetnaz Shovel priced at $38.99. This was not a mistake, it was a choice as how do you mistake a knife for a shovel. The hours for their customer service is listed on their website, however on a Wednesday afternoon, I left a voicemail, an email message, and an online chat message over the course of an hour and a half with no response, This was not a mistake, it was a choice. The next day, after sending them the requested photos, they told me they sent the knife, however they did not check with me on availability as there is a signature required. Of course the knife was attempted to be delivered when I was out of town. This was not a mistake but a choice to not verify my availability. I have spent a considerable amount of money this year with House of Knives, both online and at their storefront here in town, but maybe that was my mistake and I should chose differently what business I patronize.

We’re very sorry for the mix-up and the frustration this experience caused. Our team is small, and while mistakes can unfortunately happen from time to time, this was never intentional or a choice to disregard your order or your time. As soon as we became aware of the issue on Thursday, we worked to correct it right away and shipped the replacement knife out the same day, while also letting you keep the incorrectly shipped item. We do understand how disappointing and inconvenient this situation was, especially after trying to reach us the day before. We truly appreciate the support you’ve shown us both online and in store, and we sincerely hope we’ll have the opportunity to provide you with the experience you originally expected from the HOK team.

Kershaw Leek Black Serrated (1660CKTST)
The Kershaw Leek Black Serrated feels lightweight, compact, and very easy to carry day to day. It came with excellent out-of-the-box sharpness, and the assisted opening is extremely smooth — very easy to open with one finger.

The black finish looks great, the serrated edge is useful for tougher materials like packaging, rope, and cardboard, and the knife feels solid without being bulky.
My only real negative is that the pocket clip feels slightly awkward. It works, but the positioning/feel could be better.

Overall, it’s a sharp, lightweight, reliable EDC knife that I’m very happy with.

A serious (if small) cutting tool
Verified Buyer
Knafs Little Lulu Micarta Green (KNAFS-00596)
I’ve never really found much use for small EDC fixed blades though it seems they’re having a moment right now (early 2026) if a quick survey of “pocket check”-style posts on social media is any indication. To me, folding knives are just more convenient to carry, and can offer the same—or even more—cutting edge within a smaller footprint. And let’s be real: the simplicity of use and greater structural robustness of a small fixed blade relative to that of a folder is largely irrelevant for most convenience cutting tasks, at least for me.

I am always open to having my mind changed, however, and when I heard and read good things from trusted sources about the KNAFS Little Lulu, I knew I had to check it out. The Little Lulu is the brainchild of Ben Petersen, who is perhaps best known for his time as the “What is up guys?” guy on the Blade HQ YouTube channel but who is also a legitimate knife designer in his own right, with the Banter family of knives manufactured by WE/Civivi perhaps being his most well-known creations. The Little Lulu is the first knife to be made entirely in-house by Petersen’s company KNAFS in their modest facility in Utah, and that fact along with the small production runs of the model help account for its steep pricing. The KNAFS website claims that the Little Lulu’s MagnaCut steel blade has a hardness in the 63 to 64 hRC range, which is ideal for the steel in terms of prioritizing wear resistance and is in the upper end of what we see from even the best production knifemakers.

I’ve carried the Little Lulu for the past few weeks in place of my usual Spyderco MicroJimbo Salt both as a primary work knife and a small outdoors knife. It’s a small cutter to be sure with a 4.8 cm blade, but in my experience working in a warehouse for over a decade, that’s more than sufficient for typical tasks like slicing through pallet wrap, and the Little Lulu’s blade stock is thick enough that I don’t hesitate to use it to pop highly tensioned heavy-duty polypropylene pallet straps. As a small outdoors knife, the Little Lulu excels at carving and whittling wood due to its great ergonomics, though the thickness of its blade can sometimes work against it in this regard.

What really sets the Little Lulu apart from other small fixed blades I’ve tried over the years is just how carryable it is. Its Kydex sheath is very efficiently-sized and is set up for right-handed, crossdraw, horizontal belt carry out of the box, but it can be easily adjusted for a left-handed crossdraw or even vertical carry. The sheathed knife is small enough that it stays out of the way until I need it—I carry it on my belt near the centerline and I sometimes forget I have it on me.

Of course, there are limits to what one can do with such a small blade and those with larger mitts will likely find it less accommodating despite a relatively hand-filling handle and a generously-sized forward finger choil. On the whole, however, I think the Little Lulu is a serious cutting tool (with a price to match); a perfectly workable replacement for a small folder if one is just absolutely set on carrying a fixed-blade.
