CRKT C.U.T. (Compact. Utility. Tool.) Black (9917)
It is compact and sturdy and appealing to look at, and the blade is easily replaced. BUT... It is not easy to open with one hand, because under one's thumb on the slider one's forefinger keeps the framelock-like spring from yielding as it should to the let the blade pass. Two-handed, all is well. But....

Victorinox Onefold Alox Dark Blue (0.8006.22)
I can see this knife being in everyone’s pocket before too long.
Thin and light but solid build quality. Aluminum scales on a tight frame that takes two hands to open and close meets the carry regulations here in Canada. Pocket clip keeps it handy.

CRKT K.I.S.S. (Premium) (5500KN)
Incredable folding knife. It was purchased to replace my last one which became property of CBS after i unwittingly tried to go through security with it in my pocket at Pearson.
I was so happy to discover House of Knives still carried a model.
It's light
It's sharp
Easy to habdle.
Holds an edge forever.
House of Knives are excellent to deal with. Such a pleasure.

This folding sharpener is pleasantly compact but I wish it had a strop. I prefer my Work Sharp Guided Field Sharpener for its fine diamond plate and strop.

CRKT Delilah's P.E.C.K. (5520)
The design of the knife is pretty smart. A pocket Wharncliffe this size is incredibly useful, and it's so light you'll forget you even have it on you.
If I were to improve this thing: I really wish the pocket clip was more of a deeper carry, it sticks out of your pocket a little bit but that's not a deal breaker. The bead blast will quickly get worn smooth in places with use, but again, who cares.
It is possible to flick this open but it's so small that it's hard to get a good enough grip on it to do so. Half the time I can do it but I'm just as likely to throw it across the room when I try.

I expected some draw backs with this knife at 98$.
Blade came dull, spring assist fails to open 50% of the time. After disassembling, polishing, re-oiling and re-edging the knife it is nice.

Sorry to hear youre not super happy with your purchase. You are within the return period if youd like to start that process, you can email us at service@houseofknives.ca. As for the assist, it may just be a little too tight, you can always try loosening the main pivot a quarter turn to see if it moves smoother

For the price, this is a great little general purpose knife inspite of it's skinning intended use. Will work as a neck carry, belt or pocket carry with an added clip for the latter. Nice addition for my H.o.K. collection.
