Vosteed Shilin Cutter Blue Micarta (A2811)
one of the most visually striking knives I own, and the super slicey full flat grind with the super low tip is an incredible user shape!

Vosteed Naga Micarta Ivory Drift (A3906)
Nice knife, but the one I revived had a cracked handle, in multiple spots where the screws go in. Cant give the knife any more stars cause of that. The handle also gets dirty very easily.

Finch Knife Co Snub Nose Abalone (SN600)
Another winner from Finch. The handle on this knife really is reminiscent of the handle of a 38 special. Fantastic abalone scales. Great size too, The steel construction always makes Finch knives a bit heavy, but the compact size of most models, like this one, compensates. Fantastic action. I have my eye on the “true blood” acrylic version. Still fun to collect.

Anvil Forged Olive Chef's Knife 8" (ANCHKN01)
I ordered the knife in the picture. The service was great, but when my friend opened the knife as a birthday gift, the handle was black, not wood grain. We were out of town and didn't want to deal with the return so he just kept the black handle. I was disappointed as i really liked the wood handle.

Oh dear! I am so sorry about that! I understand you and the friend have accepted the error but we would still really like to look into this and make it right if we can. Is there anyway you can email us at service@houseofknives.ca (with a photo if possible!) so we can look into with you? We would really appreciate the opportunity to understand how this happened. Thank you!

Kizer Drop Bear Zero Aluminum Black (Ki3619BDA3)
great grind and steel and a reasonable price. this button lock is basically a compression lock with a button attached to the liner and functions well. super smooth, zero blade play, clean design. I don't find it to be too slick, the powder coat has some friction and the shape of the handle prevents it from sliding around in your hand so long as you're gripping the thing; this is more than enough for everyday use.
the gimping doesn't add much and is on the smoother side, and the button and thumb stud being a different finish or just raw would be nicer, but that's just my preference.
