Shun Kanso Hollow Ground Brisket Knife 12" with Saya (SWT0778)
I love my Shun Kanso Brisket Knife, I’ve already sliced two brisket flats and cubed two brisket points for burnt ends and it cuts that buttery soft meat perfectly. Can’t wait until I get to use it again Tuesday lol.

All that matters is you have them now Gail! Be warned though that should you ever cook in a home without them, nothing will compare!

Victorinox Swiss Army Pioneer X Silver Alox (0.8231.26-X4)
The Victorinox Pioneer X is a very nice EDC multi-tool. Fit and finish is very nice as is typical with Victorinox. All the tools here are very useful, 2 screwdrivers with can and bottle opener, a fantastic Scissors and knife, and the Awl which is a great multi-purpose tool.
The Pioneer X is noticeably thinner than the typical Swiss Army Knife, and doesn't have the bulky corkscrew. The Aluminum scales feel very nice, enough texture to get a good grip but not hard on your hands.
A very nice premium feel and weight, all stainless steel and Aluminum. The Slip joints are nice and tight on all the tools, the Bottle opener / screwdriver combo has a 90 degree stop for extra torque or control. All the tools open very smoothly with the nail nicks reasonably accessible.
Overall a great tool that I'm very happy with!

CIVIVI Altus Cuibourtia Wood (C20076-3)
Altus along with Brazen are my favorites from Civivi so far. It looks and feel really good on the hands. It's on the smaller side which I prefer for light-use EDC. The button lock is great. Disassembly for cleaning and lubing should make the action even better.

CRKT M16-04SS Tanto (M16-04SS)
Overall, this is very decent knife. CRKT build quality is good, and the knife feels sturdy in the hand. My main complaint is that the thumb studs are unusable. They are flush with the handle and when the blade is closed they sit in the handle in a way that makes it impossible to get your thumb behind them to open the blade. Aesthetically cool, but functionally useless. You still have the flipper tab, but the length and heft of the blade means that you have to be very deliberate when flipping the knife open. Not what you would call "fidget friendly", but definitely a hard working, good looking knife. Decent value for the price. I'm happy to have added it to my growing collection.

Really nice novelty, decor piece for any knife/EDC enthusiast.
Just a nice size that you can see/read it good, but doesn't take the entire wall.
Print quality and paper used are really good too!

CIVIVI Thug 2 Dark Green Micarta (C20028C-3)
Excellent price/quality ratio, as most Civivi.
The opportunity to try a design really close to the WE Thug at a fraction of the price and still, with quality material.
Action is smooth and snappy, and finish is great.
If you like smallish blades, it's really hard to beat for the price!
