Benchmade Griptilian Mini 556 Black Blade (556SBK-S30V)
Blade is sharp and in the format I was looking for. Blade opens easily, however after 2nd week, the locking mechanism jammed in the open position… i managed to unjam and lubricatel mechanism with gun oil. Consequently, i use the Benchmade knife less often and rely more on my Spiderco knife

Kershaw Shuffle Lime Blackwash (8700LIMEBW)
Mine was not good, liner lock was sharp and extremely stiff. I returned it based on this fact cause it made it basically unusable.

Benchmade Vector (496)
Just got my Vector 496 , it costs a tidy sum but oozes quality. I got this for when I dress up a bit. This was my first online purchase from HoK and overall I was very satisfied , I do not have a store nearby and would not buy an edc knife from Amazon (I have a little self respect) so this was great. Looking at the Anonimus next if it comes in stock.

Smith & Wesson Extreme Ops Liner Lock Black (SWCK105BKEU2)
Perfect little EDC. Came sharp and feels great in the hand. Time will tell if the black finish will stay but for $26CAD (on sale), you cant go wrong!! S&W knives are hit or miss but this one is a HIT

Kershaw Emerson CQC-6K D2 (6034D2)
This thing is sexy and deadly all at the same time. Being able to draw from the pocket is beautiful and the grip and blade are both very well made. Even though this is Chinese made, it is stellar quality and designed by Emerson

Love the short compact blade. Exactly what I needed for everyday carry.

Finch Knife Co. Model 1934 Ghost Green G10 (MO003)
This is a fairly big, husky knife. The blade is a real slicer and it is very comfortable in hand. It doesn't have the portability of something like the Runtly or Lucky 13, but the quality is there, it looks great, great action.

Finch Knife Co. Road Runner Hornet Yellow Resin (RR502)
Not the most practical of finch knives; its a bit heavy in the handle. But as with all Finch's the fit and finish is superb, and the action is not unlike much more expensive knives. It also has that whimsical nostalgia that seems to be the calling card of all Finch patterns. I love collecting them. Again, not as pragmatic a knife for utility use, but very fun.

CRKT Razelcliffe Compact (4021)
Definitely does take some getting use to at first. But now I absolutely love it. It’s a great utility knife and very compact. I work in a warehouse and am cutting things frequently and is a huge help. Love the look and weight of it. The opening mechanism is very quick which is good. I do agree it can pinch the thumb when closing it with one hand but my hand started to be calloused and is not an issue anymore. I would recommend for anyone looking for small, sleek knife with a good design for utility purposes.

CIVIVI Cogent G10 Burgundy Serrated (C20038E-2)
I tried this knife but sadly returned it in the Mayfair HoK due to hot spots on the flipper. I did keep a prepaid Civivi Elementum button lock. I like that HoK has a good selection of knives in store to try before I buy. One can only know so much about a blade from virtual research on line.

Buck 256 Decatur Wood (0256BRS)
Overall I like the knife. Nice action and I like the deep pocket clip. Decently sharpe. Only detractor for me would be the slight scratch or indent on the wood. Also a couple small “scuffs” on the blade that don’t want to buff out. Locks solid and it’s a good looking knife aside from the couple aforementioned imperfections.

Benchmade Griptilian 551 Black Blade (551SBK-S30V)
Good blade but the scales feel cheap (hard plastic, Valox?) - wish House Of Knives offered more replacement sacked options to customize this knife . But very Happy with the delivery and HOK experience! will buy more from them.

Hey Warren! Did you know these scales are made from Valox, which is an injection molded high density resin? If you are not satisfied with your purchase please check out our return policy at www.houseofknives.ca
