Benchmade Hidden Canyon Hunter Wood (15017)
The Knife arrived very quickly from HOK and was well packaged. The knife is very nice and razor sharp out of the box, this is a small knife with good ergonomics and control for fine work.

Benchmade Osborne - Green (940)

Hi Robert, I love this knife too. I almost have the entire set at home and use them daily. What more can anyone ask for than a great price, lifetime warranty in store and funtionality and beauty all in a knife designed by a Canadian Couple!
I hope you get as much enjoyment from yours as I have had using mine over the years.

Epicurean Spreader (031-08SPREADER01)
Not visually pleasing. No comfortable handle. However, doesn't take up much room in our rather full utensil drawer. The same day I also purchased a Zyliss sandwich spreader for ⅔ of the price of the Epicurean Spreader. It's nice!!! I wish I'd bought two of those instead.

Victorinox SwissTool Spirit X (53814 - 3.0224.L)
Well polished tool reflective of its Swiss heritage. Pliers are nice, not too needle-nose so there is more strength up front. Wire cutters are crisp. Each tool is accessible from the outside, and snaps into locked position with a satisfying detent. The chisel and box cutter feature is very useful. Scissors are sharp and robust, albeit slightly small in terms of angle of opening. The tool is comfortable in the hand due to its ergonomic shape. Overall, a high quality product from Victorinox that one should consider heavily when comparing with the Leatherman Wave+. Are you looking predominantly for a knife on a multi tool? If so that is probably the Leatherman. If you carry a separate folding blade or SAK, then consider the Spirit X. It’s blade is similar to that of a SAK but longer and more robust, however it won’t be as sharp or as heavy duty as that on a Leatherman. The leather case is nice and sturdy, with a Velcro closure. Button snap would be ideal but so far no issues. It goes on the belt vertically only. The tool is lightweight on the hip.
