Zero Tolerance 0450CF Sinkevich Carbon Fiber KVT, Black (0450CF)
The packaging was a bit lacking effort for an expensive knife compared to Chinese made knives. The grind is not straight on the edge and I've seen alot of complaints on the hardness of the steel on this knife. I have yet to test that. I make chef knives and own a rockwell hardness testing machine tho I don't want to scratch the blade to test it. We shall see how it holds up. Factory edge was sharp but terribly uneven

Nicholas, We are so sorry to read that you are not pleased with the grind on your knife and the packaging. There are a couple of options we can suggest to you. If you would like to do a refund or exchange please check out our refund/exchange policy. Alter you could contact ZT and ask about their free lifetime sharpening which would hopefully resolve your issue and give you the opportunity to share your thoughts on their packaging. If we can be of further assistance don't hesitate to let us know at service@houseofknives.ca

Happy with the knife but the one I had before seemed sturdier.

Buck 124 Frontiersman (0124BRSLE;13139)
Recently purchased the Buck 124 frontiersman with the ebony handles. Giving 4 stars only because I was a little disappointed the handle wasn’t more like the one in the photo on the website. Still a nice handle but would have liked to have seen more colour variations like in the photo. Other than that the knife is awesome. Sure feels like quality when you have it in your hand. Definitely take care of most anything you could throw at it I would think. Limited edition 2021 engraved on blade and came in a magnetic latched presentation box which was nice. The sheath is made in the US and is pretty good as well. Things went smooth with ordering and delivery.

Leatherman Wave Plus Multi Tool (832524)
The nylon sheath wears out the leatherman pokes a hole in the side eventually. You need a leather sheath. The leatherman is excellent the nylon sheath a one star. I have owned leathermans for years. The latest one was a gift. The leather sheath they sell is excellent

Benchmade Mini Crooked River Wood (15085-2)
I’m only dropping a star here because this is a very expensive knife and I’m not convinced it needs to be. It has, however, near perfect fit and finish and a very smooth action. And of course it looks amazing. I really like the blade shape, which has an excellent point for puncturing, and overall it’s a fairly slim and light carry.

CIVIVI Odium Cuibourtia Wood (C2010DS-1)
Good quality knife for the price. Sturdy and holds a good edge. The screws for the pocket clip came loose very quickly though so I suggest getting torx screwdriver for it.

Leatherman Raptor Medical Tool Blue (832713)
I’ve been using my sheers for about a month now, great tool, cuts through just about anything. If you’re sick of cheap sheers, these are a definite upgrade. Would recommend!

Kizer Domin Green (V4516A2)
It’s a great every day carry. I placed the order and my knives arrived soon after. These guys have their “stuff” together! I’ve placed numerous orders for several different knives, (yes I have a problem) at no time have I been disappointed about the service. The only time I’m disappointed is when what I want is sold out. You can trust that what you order will arrive in a timely manner.

CIVIVI Button Lock Elementum Dark Green Micarta (C2103C)
Beautifully made knife, the action is smooth and almost frictionless. It locks open and closed solidly with no play. The blade is very sharp as delivered and holds an edge well. I really like the fact that it locks closed and cannot come partly open in your pocket.

Work Sharp Kitchen Edge Knife Sharpener (WSKTNKES-I)
Great sharpener for kitchen knife touchups and pocket and workshop knives. The honing side (left) is unique. Every blade passes the paper test afterwards.
