CJRB Pyrite-Light FRN Grey/Black (J1945-BGY)
Only complaint is that it's a bit lite. But as an EDC it's perfect!
It also came with a case and cloth. Not that I would use it but it's a nice touch.

We appreciate the feedback, Isaac! A lighter feel can definitely come down to personal preference, but we’re glad to hear it’s perfect for your EDC. And even if you don’t use the case and cloth, it’s always nice to have those extras included. Enjoy it!

Spyderco Stretch 2 XL Blue Frn K390 (C258FPK390)
Excellent every day carry. Why? Excellent k390 steel, a favorite of mine in a great blade shape. Also has an excellent frn handle which is very comfortable with the pocket clip provided. Overall lighter and about half an inch shorter than the police. Excellent all round cutting and slicing tool. Came fast and at good value from house of knives. Get it while available. I highly recommend.

WE/CIVIVI/SENCUT Plain Titanium Clip Black (T001D)
Replaced an original clip that I wore out on my elementum…not actually the correct bolt combo for this knife so double check compatibility (it worked fine but bolts were 1mm too long)

Glad it worked out for your knife (or you had the tools to make it work anyway!)

Opinel No.7 Carbon Steel (113070)
While the No 8 is historically Opinel's biggest seller , IMO the No 7 sits easier in a pocket and is plenty big enough to do the job. A perfect EDC and always in carbon, please! Opinels exude simplicity, strength and history and in a world of stratospheric blade prices they are a steal.
Response from House of Knives
Feb 06, 2026
Thanks, Peter! That’s a great take. The No. 7 really does hit the sweet spot for pocket carry while still being more than capable. And we agree, carbon steel is the way to go. Opinel’s simplicity, strength, and history make them timeless, and you’re right, in today’s market, they’re an absolute steal.

Spyderco Reveal 18 Stretch 2 XL Lightweight (C258PCBL)
I live how light it feels in the hand compared to how tough it is. The blade came razor sharp. The grip feels very secure in the hand. The clip will keep a firm grip so you don’t loose it. I lost my other Spiderco knife that had the wire style clip.

Spyderco Para Military 2 CPM Cru-Wear Micarta Brown (C81MPCW2)
lovely knife and wonderful steel. but the micarta which i love the feel of, is two completely different colours. one side is a lovely caramel colour. and the other side is a lovely dark chocolate colour very different from each other and not just variations in the micarta. obviously from two separate stocks. i would be happy with either colour if both sides matched. oh well so much for made in america being a good thing. i guess quality control was sick that day
