Buck Selkirk (0863BRS / 10180)
I purchased my Buck Selkirk at House of Knives in Nanaimo, BC this on Feb. 12, '22. Sharp as a razor out of the box. Really nice looking knife. The handle has a nice feel, but is a bit small (or my hands are too big..) The fit and finish leave something to be desired. The handle scales are loose. The metal on the pommel is slightly wider than the handle scales leaving sharp edges that catch your skin - the tang is the same way. The sheath screws all wobble and move around - does not seem very stable. I have not field tested it yet - I will need to either return it or repair it myself before I try to use it.

Very good knife. Flips nice and feels great in the hand. Golden liners are a very nice touch. Very fast shipping and the knife was sharp. After using it for about a week, I can say that it makes a great EDC knife. Love the flat grind on it, and the 3.7-inch blade. Wish I could try out another one of Civivi's knives.

A gem of a knife/great companion to the Elementum
This is truly a gem of a knife. You’ve probably read the reviews and the hype is well taken: such a a comfortable fit for such a small form factor: like & equal to the Spyderco dragonfly 2 -its ‘a little big knife’. The blade is great Nitro V steel -good slicer however I do think the Dragonfly 2 blade is a bit better in this regard but on the other & in hand I like the little extra heft ie weight of the Banter. Overall this Baby seems like an excellent companion to the Elementum with similar design look & it’s superb fidgety action-(better in this way then the dragonfly ) : after all it is a Civivi & great bang for your buck...

The belt clip needs to be changed. The knife is excellent.
How the knife sits in your pocket the glass break stick out and I find you end up pocking yourself with it. If the belt clip was reversed it would sit in your pocket. I have another knife with it reversed and have no problem with it

I just received the knife today. It’s gorgeous. I placed the order on the 18th of January, and it was shipped the very next day. Great service, you would think. The knife arrived by Canada Post on the January 27. Not a very good turn around time. I would very much like the opportunity to choose another shipper, (UPS, Purolator etc.). But the knife is gorgeous. Worth the wait.

Spyderco Manix 2 Translucent Blue FRCP (C101PBL2)
This Trans Blue Manix 2 is a great design functionally. This particular version is more affordable than other versions of the Manix 2. It’s not the best action opening and closing knife but it cuts better with more control than just about anything else this size. With the Manix line of knives you can spend less or spend more if you want better blade steel or handle materials. House of Knives had good prices, product availability and quick shipping.
