CIVIVI Slippy Sendy Milled Bead Blasted Yellow Ultem (C24075A-1)
I've only ever owned old hand-me-down slipjoints,so I thought I'd give a modern one a go. not only is it imperceptibly light, it's also a super thin slicer. makes for a great secondary edc, something for food and fine work. I can't put this down!
Response from House of Knives

Thanks for the feedback, Rowan! If you’ve only ever used older hand-me-down slipjoints, this is a great modern upgrade. The ultra-light weight and super thin grind really do make it an excellent slicer—perfect as a secondary EDC for food prep and fine detail work. Sounds like it’s doing exactly what it was designed for. Glad to hear you can’t put it down!

Vosteed Marten Aluminum Dim Grey (A1610)
Wow. The Vosteed Marten with aluminum dim grey scales and Cerakote dark blue blade is a beautiful folding knife. Very impressed with Vosteed's attention to detail on this folding blade. It just screams quality fit and finish. Blade was exceptionally sharp from the box and in CPM154 steel it will be a joy to use. Added my own titanium bead on a short lanyard to complete the package.

Thanks for the feedback, David! We’re thrilled to hear you’re loving the Vosteed Marten—the aluminum scales, Cerakote blade, and sharp CPM154 steel make a perfect combination. Great idea adding your titanium bead too—it really completes the package!

Boker Advent Calendar Mini (01B0903)
Pretty cool concept. The knife itself is solid and a nice crossbar lock style. With proper screw adjustment it opens on one flick and closes just as nice. Think all the extra handle pieces are a bit much but I guess allows you to customize your way. The magnetic inserts on the handle I could do without as they could pop out if you drop it would think. The instructions are basic and didn’t mention where the spring went but figured that out. Overall a great gift for the person that loves knives

Thanks for the feedback, Gerard! We’re glad to hear you’re enjoying the solid build and smooth action of the knife, as well as the crossbar lock. Appreciate your thoughts on the extra handle pieces, magnetic inserts, and instructions—we’ll pass that along to our team. Sounds like it’s a fun and customizable gift for any knife enthusiast!

Kershaw Barricade Serrated (KE-8650ST)
Great knife with great feel and responsive action. Shipped to the South centre mall location in YYC and it didn't take too long. I ended up picking up a nice Boker while I was in the store too as it caught my eye. The guy working at the store when I picked the knife up seemed pissed off and had the personality of a potato but the knife and price was great!

It’s a very nice knife but as expected on the heavier side! Got it shaving sharp and come out with a great smooth edge that has held up nicely! Only reason for with holding a star was had to adjust the blade a bit as it was off center out of the box.

Love the design, blade and size. Only complaint the knife pivot was loose out of box I wish Vosteed would apply loctite from the factory. Other than that minor flaw great knife!
