Love this knife-- wanted a smaller profile knife to have on me while at work. I work in office but also go into the warehouse to do things and its just handy to have when out in the warehouse. Loved the color as everything seems to be black all the time :-( so tend to lean towards knives of color. The only thing as I have had it for 2 days and can see that the "color coating" on it will eventually flake off.. theres already to small points where the "paint" has worn off which is kinda disappointing since its a brand new knife-- gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of this-- overall nice knife for everyday carrying :-)

Sharpest knife I have ever used. The weight of the it almost takes it through soft vegetables. Needs minimal effort.

I’d give it a three for just the initial part of owning it. Straight out the box the detent was stupid strong and I had to put a crazy amount of pressure on the flipper tab launch the blade. However after taking it apart loosening the detent, cleaning and oiling flips like a dream. So after break the in it’s 4/5 for me

CIVIVI Elementum Cuibourtia Wood (C907U)
This is my first EDC. Well thats not true I ordered the black wash Leek first but I ended up sending it back because I found it was too aggressive looking. When you pulled out people noticed and that was not what I wanted out of a EDC. I did a bit of research and ended up choosing this. The wood scales gives it more of a traditional, gentleman knife feel. Overall I like it. It’s design could be a little slicker but it functions well as an EDC. Its light with a deep carry clip so you barely notice you’re carrying it. The action is so smooth I prefer it to the open asset Leek. Easy to open and close with one hand. I read that the D2 steel was hard to sharpen but I found it no more difficult than my high carbon steel kitchen knife. The one downside of the blade is it is bit thick for my liking. I prefer the thinness of my Opinel for slicing. It's well made for the price. I would say the quality exceeds that of the Leek. The Leek I received had loose screws and the grind of the blade was poor.

Handle is more durable than I originally thought. The blade is perfect size and razor sharp, the release makes it quick to put away too. The clip easily attached to my work coat, makes unpacking a breeze.

Can't got wrong with a Ka-Bar blade, was surprised at how light it is for the type of head it has. Very happy with it, easily replaced my old pocket knife!

CRKT M16 Special Forces - Tanto (M16-14SF)
A bit bigger than I expected but actually not bad at all for an EDC if you have a good place to clip it. The blade's shape and serration is quite functional, the build quality is fantastic, and the dual hilt helps with safety while also adding to the aesthetic. It's a beasty looking knife but still fairly compact. My only complaint about it is that the flipper feels somewhat linear and sometimes doesn't open it completely, whereas my other Kershaw knife flings open effortlessly. It's still worth every cent though.

Thanks for taking the time to post comments and a review. You may find that it opens easier over time or you could try applying a drop of lubricant to the pivot screw.

Work Sharp Pivot Plus Knife Sharpener (WSEDCPVP-I)
Decent sharpener for quick results. Using it generally wasn't a problem but the plastic casing is somewhat low quality and makes it feel overly lightweight for what it is. Doesn't seem very hardy. Could be way better but manufacturing was too cheap.

Beautiful knife. Fit very well I my larger hands. After 3 week I was cutting frozen dark chocolate and the tip broke off. Took back to HOK. No warranty, had blade reshaped. Will buy a higher quality steal next time.

Sorry to hear about how your knife broke. Cutting frozen foods is a leading cause for broken tips. Trying to cut anything frozen makes the steel more brittle and likely to break under stress. Glad you were able to get it reshaped, at least, and thank you for providing feedback.
