The line between the Spyderco Manix 2 and the Paramilitary 2 isn't that much. Which side of the line you land on comes down to personal preference. I like the PM2 compression lock slightly more short term, but the Manix 2 leaf blade and way it fit in my hand was the difference, so that's where I landed.

with less then 10 sharping one of the magnetic center roller rail for the clamp has broken off. My brand new work sharp is now paper weight.

Lovely utensil. The blade was longer than I anticipated, and therefore it was returned to H.O.K. Otherwise it would have been fine.

Wow, ridiculously huge knife, I love it. Centeringand action is great. Was ok sharp out of the box.

Great knife! One of my favourite in my rotation. Very light weight. Perfect summer carry in those sport shorts!

Superb knife. Cuts really well and rugged.

Love it. Bought this second one for my wife as I have the same. It’s a great balance and and weight. It’s one cutting SOB..

Excellent knife! Light, durable, with great ergonomics. Bought it to replace a lost one, which I’ve now found, so now I have two!

Nice knife and I appreciate the larger handle as I have XXL hands but I have been unable to adjust the pivot in a way that allows for proper thumb stub deployment without having too much play in the blade.

Very nice and impressive!

I've had twovictorinox knives for 50 years and they're still working great. I'm sure this butcher's knife will live up to my expectations.

Perfect for the wife , she had lost her blue one ,so i got her a purple one.
VG10 steel is really fun to sharpen! Add shipping was on time so super happy. Would recommend for someone that wants a small every day carry!

Thanks

I have a few Japanese knives, but in terms of kiritsuke knife, this is my 4th kiritsuke & it’s a long story.
.
My first kiritsuke knife was the Enso HD store brand [made by Yaxell] 8" kiritsuke, VG10, 12° grind. With 12° grind, it should be dead sharp & should cut like butter. Yep, it's sharp alright, but there seem to be a drag resistance on the sides of the knife while cutting. Just enough to annoy me because my Shun 10" classic chef @ 16° grind seem to cut better & efficiently. And, it has 16° bevel grind, 12° should be better. Hmm, ... weird.
.
Bought a baby Shun DM0779 6" kiritsuke & loved it. Gave away my Enso kiritsuke to my daughter & purchased a Yaxell Gou 101 8" kiritsuke SG2 Micro Carbide, 12° grind & it's better than the Enso. BUT, and here’s the big BUT, there still something amiss about the knife. Comparing the Yaxell Gou 101 with the Shun 10” Classic chef, I think it’s the overall knife profile that makes it cut efficiently, not just the acute bevel grind.
.
After now driving my wife crazy, decided to just buy the adult version of Shun DM0779 6” kiritsuke and bought the Shun DM0771 8” kiritsuke and loved it. Now, the 6” & 8 Shun kiritsuke’s are my go-to knives. Of course, I still take out & use the other Japanese knives so that the wife sees that I’m using them. 😊

I ordered a week ago and still have not received my belts. Rediculous price for shipping and it hasn't even arrived.

Very pleased with the performance, great craftsmanship!

Its a very comfortable EDC. Smooth and sleek

We reviewed it on our YouTube channel. Check out Get The Fun Outside!!
