this was an impulse buy because of the gorgeous patterned micarta, but wow! very comfortable ergos, and the button liner lock is such a huge improvement over the classic plunge lock. very snappy action and a secure lockup

Knafs Lander 2 Clip Point Satin (KNAFS-00408)
This is my first Knafs and probably won't be the last. I liked the look of this as it has a classic look to it but is made with modern materials and locking style. The Kizer Clutch lock is an upgraded Axis style lock that has great action and you can adjust the tension. The clip point style blade came hair shaving sharp. The paper micarta scales are fantastic. Some online reviews mentioned that the scales are slippery.. this is the case if you are just gripping between your index finger and thumb only. If you have a full grip on it there is no concern of this. It's a great knife that can easily compete with more expensive axis lock style knives. It has the ability to change scales easily, but I don't think I will in this one as I like the paper micarta....maybe something to play around with on my next Knafs Lander! As usual, HoK has great pricing and quick service.

The clip is nice but after installed on the knife it had very little tension and therefore the knife would basically slide out of my pocket. I had to clamp the clip down to bend it for it to hold tighter. It improved somewhat but still has poor pocket retention. It feels too springy and not stiff enough.
