Wusthof Classic Ikon Double Serrated 9" Bread Knife (4163/23;1040331123)
My old bread knife didn't owe me anything, but I'd begun making very large round loaves and I was finding that slicing it meant I had to divide the loaf first. But I was also getting very uneven slices. It turned out that it wasn't a lack of skill on my part, because the Wusthof bread knife not only managed the huge loaf easily, but gave me perfect slices. I actually look forward to the slicing operation now. The knife has a wonderful weight and balance. My other knives are Henckels, but I may invest in more Wusthof knives now that I've tried the Ikon.

Benchmade Mini Crooked River Wood (15085-2)
Great EDC knife with a traditional meets modern feel. Shipped to Toronto quickly in the middle of Covid 2020. My first order from House of Knives and it won't be my last. The price is up there, but that's Benchmade's thing and HoK Canada competes with the US pricing. Plus the freebie (a garden set this time) is actually useful and decently made. Thanks!

Global G Series 7" Santoku Hollow Ground Edge (G-80)
I bought this knife because of the excellent web reviews. The knife is very sharp and the size and balance are great. I was concerned that the handle might be slippery, but it's not. House of Knives was true to their word and they price matched this product. Great customer service. I am happy with this purchase and would buy from House of Knives again.

Wusthof Classic Ikon 8" Chef Knife (1040330120;4596-7/20)
I had tested the knife in the store previously to be sure it was the handle design I wanted. The ikon handle is very comfortable and of course the knife is superbly sharp. Would highly recommend.

Kussi 3" Paring Knife with Sheath - Red (8000RD)
Made a mistake ordering these knives. I thought they were serrated. Wanted to return them to store but store is closed. I emailed and was told I had to pay for shipping back. Not my fault store is closed and house of knives should have free return shipping since store is closed
