It's as good as any other safety razor. There really isn't a huge difference in quality from brand to brand. The thing that seperates this from the others in my opinion, is the rubber handle. It gives a decent amount of grip, which is a big plus since razors are always wet.

Wusthof Pro 8" Chef Knife (4862-20)
A very nice kitchen knife in the "chef's knife" form factor. The blade is thin enough to make it very good at slicing through material but still stiff enough to handle more robust vegetables like squash. The belly of the blade is a bit more pronounced than the average contemporary chef knives on the market and this allows the user to potentially have a bit more range when using the rocker chopping motion.
The factory edge is sharp but it is a coarse grind with a somewhat ragged edge, minutely wavy, and a slight burr. The edge is most likely a production matter and I don't think every Pro knife would come with this kind of coarse edge.
I have one criticism of the knife design, however, which is the shape of the handle where it meets the blade. It makes the knife unable to properly fit in the standard edge guards on the market. Wusthof does produce a set of edge guards for the Pro series of knives but I have not been able to find these at online or local Canadian retailers.

Excellent little device. I purchased it to sharpen my serrated blades that I purchased from HoK a few years ago. After a resharpen in-store two years ago, they need another. Due to where I live, it's hard to get into town, so this was a gamble. So far, it's sharpened up the blades very well.
