I found the online shopping experience to be efficient and effortless. I am still waiting for my purchase as it’s being shipped to Toronto. But overall great experience and I’ll probably switch to HOK as my knife and cutlery retailer.

Great First Benchmade
After considerable research decided to go with this newer mini presidio 2 with the elite scales. I think this a better overall knife for me then the bugout- the other wildly popular choice for many. Yes it’s a bit heavier but much more solid with no handle flex-perfect size /great bead blasted blade-more of a mid then mini knife. Still getting used to the axis lock-once you get the timing re closing (to avoid blade bounce) you’re good. Great fit & finish-black benchmade class is solid & ready for heavier use if necessary. A very underrated knife well worth the cost.

To be honest I wish I could give it 5 stars. The staff were friendly but I was unable to order and pay for what I wanted in the store. I asked them to order my a work sharp ken onion model 2 weeks ago and they did but it hasn't been shipped. I asked the staff in the store and they told me if I were to order it online it would be sent out much sooner. When I asked if I could pay in store and order it that way they said no they are not allowed to take payment until my order gets there. My order will arrive in a few days now but when you order through store it can be weeks or no one knows. The website is not fun to shop on but I don't enjoy shopping on most websites. That's why I go into the store. The staff member gave me a code and told me to use it with my order for 10% off at checkout which I did and instead received 10 dollars off the order. I am excited to get my product but the experience of purchasing it was awful.

Website experience was fine. Product arrived intact as expected. The email audience and timing seems to be a bit off though - this feedback email arrived before my product did for example. I have also received an email congratulating me on my new Shun knife, and is suggesting maintenance and sharpening accessories. However, I bought a Shun whetstone, which IS a sharpening accessory, not a knife, so that communication was redundant and is making me consider unsubscribing.
