OK, I have used this service off and on for about 3-4years? when I at first tried it, I was having erroneous labelling, mixed with other frustrating metadata corrupting my carefully loaded files. In the last several years, They have made the system work ALMOST flawlessly, even with my arcane music library!! Well worth the investment! Highly recommended!

First I love the software but there are a few features that would be great that are not in the software.
1. There doesn't seem to be any way to select that ID3 Tag information that I actually want. For example, I don't necessarily need the artwork, I.E. album cover.
2. Would be great if when tagging the file it could Add (Live) to the tag to help distinguish between studio recording and live performance.
Other than these items I think the software is great

Hi Charles, thankyou. You can actaully configure what fields to update using Preferences:MusicBrainz:Format and Preferences:Remote Correct:Discogs. You can use the field mbreleasetype in Preferences:File and Folder Correct:Rename Filename form Metadata to add release type. Top notch software - the only way to export Mp3 data into Excel - modify - and then import back into each song file - I was able to get more than 100 data fields for each song - I am very happy

After reading how unintuitive the setup and first uses were, I was nicely surprised to find that the UI is very much intuitive. I have thrown thousands of MP3 files at it and it has methodically gone through and corrected tags on a very large percentage in a decent amount of time. The only issue I'm seeing is that the cover art it's been supposedly attaching to files is showing when I do a Windows directory look at the files, but it is not showing in my Kodi or VLC music player. More images are showing in my VDJ app, but the images are not consistent, many are totally unrelated. That being said, I am still impressed with Jaikoz. It would have earned 5 stars if the cover art issue could be addressed. Is there a solution to this?

Hi Louis, coverart is always added into the file themselves, and you can optionally also save to the album folder . If you could post more details on community.jthink.net we can help you resolve this.

Songkong is a reliable software with probably the biggest music tag databases in the background. I especially love the optional feature that it corrects and updates my music tags without changing the file names.
So my favourite player "MusicBee", with which I usually manage the tags, can read the updated music tags without losing the file link.

I have a lot to learn about the program but the more I use it the best results I get.. it needs a lot of reading in order to take the most of it! Your forum support is excellent!!
I didn’t find the way to make it “know” in every case that some compilation albums I have (mainly from audiophile labels -not that they are the most important albums in my collection-) are compilations and not individual songs.
Also the delete duplicates sometimes works in a strange way.. it deleted somehow random songs in each of the same two albums leaving still two albums in the collection...
