Great product! There are a couple of interface issues that keep me from giving 5 stars. Often the text is cut off when processing, and the sort album and artist update is inconsistent even though I have it set to not update those fields.

Regarding the sort album, artist update issue there is a separate setting for Updates from MusicBrainz and Updates from Discogs so I suspect you have disabled one but not the other.

Hi Thomas, thankyou for sending me your log files, the major issue here is you only tried against 100 songs, that sample size is far too small to get a meaningful match rate, please try over a larger sample or your whole library, there is no limit

Hi, the problem may be with your player. The difficulty with Operas compared to other Classical is that there are usually three levels (Work, Act, Scene) rather than two levels (Work, Movement), I can help you further on the forums if you like.

I am not an expert and don´t want to read long manuals. I just want to tag songs on Melco or NAS which don´t have tags or album covers and have the file names changed to the song names...

Hi Thomas the default should work well for most, the issue may be that after fixing songs on Melco you need to Update MinimServer server indexes and restart your control point. If that doesnt work please run Create Support Files and I will help you further.

If you have a big library of songs or plan to have one, Songkong will help to have the right metadata for you player software. I use Roon and depend on the quality of the meta data to get the nest out of roon unmatched capabilities. Songkong makes my good libary even better.

Maybe the best on the market, however it cannot do magic. I tested it on a copy of my collection which was wise. It found many cd artwork, scanned many songs unknown before but it also deleted many songs, claimed many unknown wrong and many covers added were false. in the end it was not working with the collection automatically and doing it careful song by song, well, same work as before. i cannot give more than 3 stars sad to say, I was expecting more accuracy for the price.

Can I help you improve things, if you run Create Support Files I can look into this in more detail for you. SongKong does not delete any songs unless you use the Delete Duplicates Songs feature, perhaps it has just moved them to a different location if you have SongKong configured to rename them.

Dropping one star as there should be a manual editing function to automatically label song numbers from 1 to n on the Songs tab.
Fixing metadata does not always automatically add song numbers. Without numbering songs some CD rips the revert to alphabetical song order. Not great for many classical music pieces.
Also browser interface is a little basic.

Really useful utility with a high degree of accuracy. Ideally, would like to see some options that save metadata to WAV files so that information displays in standard Windows Media fields. Perhaps that's a limitation of the file format.

SongKong supports writing both ID3v23 and ID3v24 format metadata (see Save tab) to Wavs plus the older LISTINFO format. Are you viewing with Windows Explorer if so I think the issue is that it only supports ID3v23 not ID3v24

HI Rami, certainly best to fix a few and run in preview at first so you understand what it is doing, but then if happy with results should be able to run on collections of any size.
