Bars are a noticeable improvement over stock. Much more comfortable and I’m not even that tall of a person.

Surron X Bike (Black Edition)
I recently purchased 2 Sur Ron limited bikes for myself and my 13 year old son. We are having a blast! The bike has plenty of power for me being 5’11” 195lbs. I did change the handlebars to the 3” riser which is more comfortable standing up. Overall great bikes and a lot of fun!

Luna Fixed Stealth Ebike
Wow this is fun to ride.
I have been commuting to work by bike for 20+ years. I got an e-bike for my commute about 7 years ago. It was nice but heavy, I called it my truck, it got the job done.
The Luna Stealth caught my eye when it first came out but I was not convinced until I got to ride it. It checked all of the boxes for a commuter bike, internal hub with belt drive, hydraulic brakes and a little electric boost to avoid breaking a sweat.
I had it customized within two days and I now ride it 15 miles a day 5 days a week. It is so much more fun than my old bike.
Mods - Brooks saddle, ergonomic grips, my favorite peddles, pannier rack and raised the handle bars 2 inches.

Bafang BBSHD Mid Drive Ebike Kit
I bought a Trek Donane A2 to convert to an e-bike. My son had done a Luna conversion on his bike and recommended the Luna kit. This is a commuter bike, but it does handle gravel well. I live on a gravel road.
Two things had to be changed in order to install the Luna kit, the handle bars and there was a bit of aluminum sheet metal that needed to be trimed so that the motor would fit neatly on the bike. The droop bars would not work because of all the hardware that has to mount on the bars. I put streight bars on and cut them down to 22 inches sided to side. I would recommend going for 23 or 24 inches. More real estate for mounting stuff on the bars. I also increased the tire width to 38mm for a better ride.
I have 92 miles on the bike since I converted it 2 weeks ago. The only issue is getting the rear derailleur set just right to get all 8 gears as it should. I am getting very close to perfecting that system.
I have less than $2500 in this bike. I think that is well below what I could have bought an e-bike ready to go.

No Drill Battery Mount Kit
Incredible kit. When I originally purchased my BBSHD kit, I wasn’t able to mount the battery in the triangle of my full “squish” MTB. Enter this kit—
This allowed me to mount to the underside of my bike with the original battery tray, all while maintaining a clean look. Installation is simple: line up the battery tray holes, assemble the components, and tighten down the hose clamps.
If you’re not struggling to mount a battery on your ebike, this is a better option than drilling and tapping new holes.
