This is a superb mod. Well crafted, sturdy construction.
If you are around 6' in height or above, it makes a world of difference in the ergonomics of the bike. Combine with a set of riser bars for comfortable all-day ride.

Quick shipping and product was what I needed.

Gets me up the mountain.

Rock Solid reliable, powerful, and waterproof. Need a 17Ah version!....;-)

The Sur Ron X is the most fun I have ever had on two wheels! Shipping was fast as well. I pre ordered it April 16th and received it May 14th, even though this website read estimated mid June shipping date at the time. Seriously if you are slightly considering this bike, buy it from Luna! I have had nothing but excellent customer service from Luna as well. All of my friends want one now, thanks again Luna!

Great bike. The RST Killah has a screwy axle bolt setup that broke on the locking cap side when I removed it from the crate, so now I have to make a replacement. It is originally very crappy metal. The rest of the bike is great and I have enjoyed it

Coming from riding dirtbikes my whole life I didn’t think a electric bike would be just as fun.I’ve waited a year or so to pull the trigger and I wish I would’ve did it sooner

Love this bike!

I replaced the thumb lever with these throttle. I ride dirt bikes and this feels much more natural. The installation was easy and my handlebars are less crowded now.

Great for a second set of tires, one for off road, one for road use. Makes the changeover much quicker. Good price for a built wheel.

Awesome bike and so much fun. I love how customizable it is too. Luna part upgrades are great at good prices too, although hard to catch them in stock.

awesome product, charges fully in a short time. delivered with extra care and on time!

It's too early to know if it's actually more efficient than my previous BBS02, but I can say it's working really well, and eliminated the concern of blowing it up when I want to use it fully. I've mounted it on a recumbent trike, which might be more efficient, but doesn't benefit from the first few strokes being out of the saddle the way I used to with my 2 wheeled mountain bike. Paired it with a chainring adapter, and that gives me 42/57 combo on the front crank.

Love it. Coolest thing ever. Luna is awesome!

Nice ride

Notable improvement, makes the cockpit more roomy, and you fell less hunched over the bars when standing. No problems with ground clearance.

I have never spent so much time outside thanks to this machine. The quality is phenomenal , the customer service is 10/10 and because its so quiet I am able to ride around the streets of downtown chicago with absolutely zero issue. Again never had so much fun, I think I will actually purchase a second one to have a Setup with the super Moto tires and one for trails!

Sweet

I got this bike as a surprise gift for my husband. He is thrilled with it and has found several people in our area that he rides with. The quality is amanzing!

My front brake disc makes ever slight touch point noise at one spot at each revolution- but that is expected to make a bit of noise, isn’t it? Have you got any disc brake easy maintenance tips, as the front brake, when applied, can begin to squeal a bit from introducing moisture? Do normal chain cleaning/waxwings apply for every 500 miles would you say or fewer?

Lastly, the touch points just under the foot pegs seem to be a spot where scrapes and burrs will happen when on single track over rocks - can you recommend any good spray on or heat shrink or crimp material that can add cushioning or defense there? I bet rubber could cause resistance but maybe dipped plastic? Thank you for a wonderful product.

The battery lasts for quite a long time on single track - I do wish I could commute farther with it, but it’s understandable with the current tech. When climbing a hill in EP or even Sport mode with 4% life left, I was a bit disappointed that the bike totally powered down at the near-top of the hill 3x but still had batt life. When the hill flattened out, I did make it home on that last percent of power.

If there was a convenient carry case for the battery charger, I could carry it with me or possibly have the funds to get another charger or two to keep them at the other end of my daily commute. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk!
