I bought a 100mm BBSHD for a Costco Northrock XC-00 fat tire bike. It fit perfectly! No shims were necessary at all and it was installed in about an hour. I used the standard 46-tooth chain ring and it also cleared the frame.

I also bought the Luna wrench for the bottom bracket. The wrench was not that good for two reasons: it could only be positioned at 90° angles so it made tightening the nut cumbersome and it was not long enough to apply enough torque on it to fully tighten the nut. After the first hour or so of riding, the motor loosened up and I had to retighten (this time in beast mode) and use Locktite. It has been secure ever since. I think a socket would be a better option to tighten the nut. The Luna wrench was OK for the aluminum jam nut, though, since that nut has a lot of splines and does not require as much torque.

I did not get the shift sensor. I usually keep the bike in one gear, but if you lightly apply the brakes, the power cuts off and you can safely shift that way.

I got the 12 AHr 52 V battery. I should have gotten a larger battery as I have been using the throttle heavily (irresistibly fun). With pedal assist, though, the range is greatly increased.

Pros: The the motor is exceptionally quiet and the way it effortlessly delivers power makes biking exhilarating.

Cons: The cadence sensor is a little clunky because it requires at least a full tire rotation before it kicks in. Even though a torque sensor is a more sophisticated way to control power, I’ll take the reliability, cost-savings and simplicity of the existing setup.

I ride this almost every day, been on the trails and side streets. This is the perfect 'missing link' bike between dirt and mountain. 10/10 would recommend this bike and have already.

The saddle extension kit is well built and easy to fit. The package arrived a week earlier than expected. The only bad thing, the plates lack the wording "LUNA" as you can see in the photos.

Worked well. Wish I had installed them on the ‘cheap’ bike when I first ‘electrified’ it in 2008. Stopped sudden shift in the rear axle when braking.
The hose clamps should perhaps be of a bit better quality.

excellent product from Luna, super fast delivery. only took a week for the Sur-Ron X ebike!

World wide qualities. Excellent professional & knowledgeable service.
Highly recommended for every one.

Luna cycle is quite simply the best!

The charger exploded as soon as I used it.
I mean, the very first time.
It was on 220.

The Sur-Ron X is a fantastic machine and met all of my expectations. My initial experience with the Sur-Ron surprised me as it excelled in maneuverability and power and I was greatly surprised how easy it was to get used to. My friends and family members with no previous experience on any powered bike in the past had a great time and were very comfortable riding the Sur-Ron.

im in love

order processed and shipped very quickly! had one issue with the bike but customer service was quick to reply and helpful, figured it out and on the road. or off-road rather! sur ron bike is built well, and preforms as expected. a few mods and this thing is a beast!

Best thing I have bought. So I had to buy another. This is my second sur-ron. I use them off road and as a daily commuter. Can't say enough good things. You have to purchase to experience this great bike for yourself.

Best toy out there!

Just what the doctor ordered I can change my setting in minutes Nice Box 👍

AWSOME Sauce for my mid drive BBSHD

So far, it's great. I have never applied stickers/wrap to anything before and even without instructions I was able to install relatively easily. It was easy to set properly and was sticky even after a few tries to get the pieces straight. Luna also supplied a bunch of extra material to cover other things and some extra swingarm cutouts for that hard area. Make sure you clean the bike first and dry it. Then go over it with rubbing alcohol before you apply. Overall, great and easy product for even a newbie to wraps.

Got my bike throw FedEx the box that the bike came in it was very good condition, when I unpacked everything was there I read the instructions to assemble ride it and I love it, good job to Luna cycle.
