The brakes start to be similar to the ktm 125. Very nice material is not noisy braking and also much cleaner very satisfied

Hey all. So, I have owned a BBS02 since 2016, I bought it from BafangUSADirect with a 52v Dolphin pack. 4+ and 4k+ miles later, it started acting up. My bike is my only transportation so I bought an HD. I found Luna after I had gotten the original kit and had ordered a wrench and display from them before buying the HD. I did not need the kit and I have 2 dolphin packs so I just needed the motor. Getting the BBS02 off was insane! That was ON there...it took me into the next day to pull it but I got it off, the HD slid right in without issue, wired it up. I am liking it. Rather large difference from the 02, the PAS iseems a little odd though. Throttle is insane. Luna has a life long customer. I had questions before buying the HD and staff answered them quickly and accurately. I had zero issues with this endevour, thank you Luna!

I owned several ebikes including a Haibike trekker. I purchased this ebike for its compactness, battery size, and Baafan motor. Good value for the price. It met the needs for storing it in my class C RV motorcoach. I’m 5’11” and weigh 280 lbs. This bike handles well with a low center of gravity. The throttle is handy for pushing off the bike from the stopped position. I ride on streets and class 2 bike trails. The 52 V battery has so much reserve that even after 20 level miles my TFT bike display still showed 100%. The charger it came with is powerful and flexible, allowing you to select the percentage to fully charge and also select the amperage from 1-5. The charger display shows the battery’s current volts, and charging volts which goes to zero when fully charged. For longevity it is recommended to maintain the battery between 20-80% except during battery break-in period. My two recommendations to improve the bike. 1) Upgrade the seat to one that fits a wider “tush” with springs to absorb bumps. 2) Fill the tires with Slime. My first ride ended in a flat tire from a rose thorn. Carry a bike pump or CO2 canisters. The 20 inch tires are smaller than standard size. Carry a metric Hex wrench set is also good idea to tighten various bolts like the seat post and handle bar adjustment. Recommend to have the bike assembled by a professional unless you regularly work on bikes. We missed the wheel part still in the packaging that was needed for the assembly. Did not come with printed instructions. Instruction are on the website for setup and initial use. Should read the instructions to braking in the battery. I applied Avery labels to cross reference battery % and voltage to my battery and set my bike display to show %. Overall a great buy.

Mediocre. Almost everything I have purchased from Luna has exceeded expectations, so this is just meh. Clamp does NOT fit a 31.8 mm standard MTB bar; I broke the mount trying to force it to fit, so I couldn’t send it back. I fixed with a zip tie. Beam is weak, less than the 450 lumen light I was replacing. It has a blue mode, which is useless. Lasts about 3 hours. Overall there are MANY better choices, and very disappointed that Luna has put their name on this.

For the money it's worth It, compare others to Luna's V3 then consider what Luna is doing here this is what they do.. pros and cons always in every thing. I have lots of the pros and very few of the other. YOLO own a Badass scooter!!

Best purchase I have made in a while. My wife loves this bike

Bought the bike for my 13 year old son. We absolutely love it. He has put over 500 miles on it in 4 weeks, just riding around our neighborhood. We enjoy the torque and light weight, which makes it fun and easy to ride. I'm purchasing a second bike so, we can have fun together. So much fun...

I have nothing but positive things to say about Luna! They always respond and have pride in their products. I bought a Sur-Ron X and am on the waiting list for the best e-bike made... the Apollo. I’m not new to the E-bike world, so I really appreciate quality service and a great product.

Amazing machine. Surprising nice upgrades from the original model I purchased in 2018. It's nice to have the X Controller already installed and max speed available from factory. Amazing!

I really like that you can easily select between the 80, 90, and 100% charging target as well as a charging rate (1-5A in steps of 1A), so I can be gentle on the battery if I've got all day to wait for it.

Having used this for a couple of months now, I only wish the fan was quieter. I have it running under my desk at the office and I am a bit self-conscious about the noise. Otherwise I'm very happy.

Product came quick and built solid love thats its stainless steel n not plastic

It works in all, however, the throttle response is slow and it takes a good quarter turn to kick in and over half a turn to get any real throttle response. Its more like a beginner model and I am thinking of trying out the quarter turn model because just by definition seeme like a better experience.
