Had a bit of difficulty early on with the website. Couldn't place the order. You guys should get set up to just run a credit card! The site eventually got fixed, folding ebikes were ordered and shipped about a week later. The bikes are great! I think these guys are operating with bare bones staff to help keep costs down. They did always get back to me but took a day or two. The bikes actually weigh in at about 46 pounds with the battery as opposed to the 38 that we had seen in the specs. Overall we are satisfied customers and wish these guys good luck!

Nice bike for the price quality seems to be good so far and we'll see how it holds up so far it's a blast to ride.

Best solution for me ever.
I live in France in the pre-alps and have a farm and à large property.
I suffered a bad foot injury due to motorcycle accident.
This bike makes me so mobile, I get to places in the mountains where i've never been before.
It's really versatile.
i have a ktm e-bike, I prefer the Sur Ron by far.
It could be a few inches bigger.
Iam 60 years old and 1.80 meter.

The best bike I’ve ever owned. I highly recommend this if your thinking about buying.

Purchased the Sur Ron X in August during the pre order and the bike arrived a few weeks later. Before it arrived I asked if possible, that I would prefer the DNM suspension. Luna responded yes, but would delay delivery, I was ok with that so I said yes. They added a note to my preorder. There was no delay at all and I received the bike with they suspension I preferred and couldn’t be happier! I was extremely satisfied with Luna’s customer service and product! Would and will definitely buy from them again! Thanks Luna Cycle! The Sur Ron was the best purchase I’ve made in a long time!

Mega fun for the whole family.

Bike is so fun to ride. It makes no noise so i can ride anytime day or night. More riding less maintenance with electric.

Amazing customer service and response time when I had questions about products or shipping. Very helpful and polite. I bought the sur ron x black edition and it even arrive sooner than expected.

Very nice part. Seems extremely sturdy. Fits perfect and let’s me choose from many standard moto sprockets. Impressed enough that I’m buying a second foe my sons bike.

We bought two Sur Rons for my guys to play with. Unfortunately, my guys only get to play with them at my house as they are still at my house. My friend and I ride them and I have even gotten my wife to go riding with me. Last time we rode together was five plus years ago! The bikes have plenty of power and the guys at Luna Cycle were extremely friendly and helpful.

I found the seat to be ridiculously hard (like riding on a 2x4 after an hour or so), so I am having new saddles made by renazco.com.

My wife is 5'9" and she was telling me that her hands were going numb after an hour or so. I am 6'3" and I was having the same issue as the handlebar was too low for me. For bike #1 I purchased a Renthal Integra direct mount handlebar clamp and the Pro-Taper 80mm riser handlebar that everyone here recommended as well as some 50mm bushings/standoffs from McMaster Carr and that worked great for my wife. However, I still needed it taller.

On bike #2 I purchased the Deity Direct Mount handlebar clamp and the high rise handlebars and also raised them 3" by ordering and installing some 3" bushings from McMaster Carr. I had to reroute the brake disconnects but it is more comfortable and my hands don't go numb.

I changed out one of the bikes from the stock sprocket to the 58 tooth sprocket and love it. I max out at around 45 mph which is plenty fast for me on a little bike with only one front disc brake. Most importantly, acceleration is a lot better and I live close to La Jolla so the hills are much easier with the 58 tooth. I might even try the 64 tooth.

Good luck and have fun.

Bike is fantastic. Could have used a simple assembly manual.

A great bike so far. Very easy to use and fun to ride!!

Somebody said they r HYPE!. But becoz my experience with others was no better I headed to “Luna” & WOW!🤩 I can rest assured if I want high performance mid drive.. for reasonable price complete package with high performance battery it’s “LUNA “!😍😍🤑🤑🤑🤑

Love the charging options! Works great!

Great customer service!! ........ Bought the BBSHD and some extras.....ran into some technical issues and Luna’s customer support staff was on it and guided me in the right direction.....Thanks guys!!!

product is great, but it was difficult to get a hold of customer service

Great products and staff, very quick shipping too! The Bafang Mid-drive motors are great! I'm 50 years old and can now enjoy my 25 year old mountain bike again. I have built many, my recent purchase (BBSHD 100MM) was mounted on a full suspension Trek Fuel EX 8! Wow what a bike Luna has helped me to create! If your getting older and already have a nice bike, Don't buy a new bike, Upgrade it with a Bafang! or if your really adventurous check out their Sur Ron! Still saving my pennies for that one! Thanks Luna!

This is my favorite charger. Its so nice to just throw it on at 80% and know I don't need to babysit the charger to pull it off at the right time.
Charger does not function on my square wave inverter, where others do.

Spot on with advice and cables/connectors.

Just what I needed to convert my Anderson connectors to XT90S without a proper soldering tool. With a good heat gun (my lighter burns rather dirty and concentrated heat too much) and wire cutters, adding XT90S pigtails to my e-trike was a relatively simple task.
