I ordered the Black Box in order to program different versions on my Luna Crusher 3. It works great and is way quicker than programming with laptop.

I installed The cyclone kit on my super 73Z1 to give it that extra kick that it needed.
Motor and controller work great. My only issue is I keep breaking chains. I even tried to KMC. I believe the biggest thing with the kit Is to make sure everything is lined up properly. I put 5 to 600 miles a month on my E bike.
Definitely the right kit for anybody who wants to modify their bicycle. I barely drive my car anymore last month my total fuel bill was only $17.68.
I will be coming to Luna cycle to buy a new E bike as soon as I run this one to the ground. Definitely going full suspension next time.
And yes it will make your super 73 Wheelie down the street😎. Lunar cycles number one

Great charger!

The Luna Enduro X-1 is impressive. What first caught my eye was the price . I could not build an e-bike, close to this price, giving the X-1 components are what you would expect on a quality e-bike. The Luna X-1 does great on the single track trails, like riding a cloud on two wheels, and the X-1 on the climb, well a got the Ludicrous Mode and it will climb anything and takes the walking out of biking. If you want an Enduro e-bike? This is the one.

Everyone at Luna was committed to a success with the system. It’s working very well. Quiet and powerful. the application is a off-road tadpole trike. The response time and cadence programming need to be ironed out. Because of the slow crawl the of riding I do. I’m really pleased with the product and the support.

Cyclone kit was well packed and arrived undamaged. This is the most powerful motor I have installed on a bike. Running homemade 72v battery. Drive train is holding up fine so far.

Excellent chainring. It has extra deep teeth to prevent the chain from falling off, so you don't need a chain keeper. Learned my lesson after trying to climb a steep hill without it. Now the chain stays on. Also, much lighter than the stock BBSHD steel chainwheel. I got the 42 T version.

I wanted this rear fender guard for my Sur-ron among other add- ons and they produced it. I’m very happy! Luna Cycle has great prices and gets things shipped out very quick if it’s in stock. I bought my Sur-ron from them with no problem and love it! Thank you Luna Cycle!

Have to put the cherry on top, correction on the bottom with the Luna bash motor guard for the Sur-ron. It adds a nice touch and looks great!

So far the bike is awesome. It climbs pretty steep hills, suspension is very good, power & throttle response very good. The distance of the battery life is really good in off road hill riding conditions. The only negative for me so far is the brakes. They are very loud & squeaky but they do stop well just noisy.

Once or twice a week. Just started a trail thru the local woods. This thing is awesome. My mountain bike buddies are going to hate me. Thank you Luna Cycles!

I absolutely love my sur ron x bike! It came in good condition I don't think the box was even damaged. There's tons of videos to watch so putting it together was a breeze. Sadly my second time riding it I hit a patch of ice and fell (hardly moving I was coming to a stop). The bracket that holds the right peg on snapped like nothing. I don't know if it's because of the corona virus or what but that part it's out of stock everywhere I've found to buy parts for it. One comment on the part said buy a few because they break so easy. Whish I knew that buying the bike so I could pre order a few.. Then when I was cleaning the bike off to bring it inside I noticed the front wheel was loose one of the caps of the through axle had come off during my ride (20 miles so no chance I'd be walking that and actually finding it). So I went to the bike shop and they said it was kind of an outdated axle type 8 years ago. So I had to order it. Just things I wish I knew when I bought the bike so I wouldn't have it sitting there taunting me for weeks waiting for parts.

This review is for the V3. It took one week after ordering to receive the scooter from FedEx freight. I live in NY State and consider that fast order processing and shipping. The box arrived with slight damage but the scooter was unharmed. Not a scratch. Assembly was pretty straight forward and I would consider the supplied hex wrenches adequate. Putting it together consisted of installing the handlebars, brake handles and plugging in the connectors. It took me about an hour to unbox, assemble, check tire pressure and tension on things that were preassembled, plug in to charge and cut the shipping box down for recycling. It arrived with very little charge and the supplied charger is 2 amps so I knew I was in for a long wait. While charging started I familiarized myself with the display and controls, then adjusted menu settings to my own preferences. After about two hours on the charger, I could wait no longer and took it for a slow spin around the block just to be sure everything was functioning. It was, except the watt meter showed no wattage draw. I will address this with support to see if it is indicative of something that requires attention. Again, everything else seemed to be in order. I didn't want to speed test or anything at this point as it still was well under nominal voltage. So I took a couple of my e-bikes for a spin and kept it on the charger for the rest of the day and much of the night. This morning, I decided a test run of a mile or two was in order. Ten miles later, my test run was complete. Wow! I didn't want to get off the thing! What a blast! I learned that for me, it's best to start out in single motor mode, in a lower power setting, then once under way add more power and both motors. Done this way, the raw power of this beast is a little more manageable. I was especially impressed with the climbing ability, acceleration and the overall speed. I had it up to 37 mph and it was still accelerating but I backed off because I'm not that familiar with it or scooters in general yet. At 15 mph, in level 2, I kicked in both motors and gave it full throttle and it ever so briefly spun the tires on pavement. Up to level 3 and I was at 30 mph within just a few seconds. This thing is a blast! Did I say that already? If not, I should have. The suspension I would describe as tight. It's not very bouncy and there isn't a ton of travel but it hugs the road, grabs the pavement and propels us forward. It stays glued to the pavement. The ride quality is confidence inspiring. The brakes are solid and capable but be careful! They are a bit touchy. Do not squeeze them, at first at least. I found that tapping them slightly has been helpful in feeling them out. As for steering, there is a minimum level of play. Since this is a folding scooter, I expected some play but there was actually much less than anticipated. At first I was a little reluctant to really tighten down the thumb screws on the quick release for the steering collar. Before the test ride though, I turned all four until there was resistance enough to make further tightening difficult, then pushed the quick release lever closed which took a moderate amount of effort. This further tightened up the stem and reduced any play to a negligible level. After this first real test, I gave it the once over to see if anything loosened up or needed adjusting. It didn't. I will continue to check stuff after each ride for a while, then periodically after I get to know it better. As for the battery, i rode this moderately hard for 10 miles with some hills but nothing too serious. Mostly in level 3 with both motors and I had a voltage reading of 61.5 which is still just over nominal. That's pretty darn good I think and will likely improve a little as the battery gets a few balancing charges under it's belt and my riding tecnique improves. Although it is very early in my ownership of my scooter, I am having a very good start. This is for me a fairly high dollar purchase and I feel as though I got a bargain. This scooter may not be for everyone. It is extremely powerful and may not be a good fit for someone who either lacks confidence or equally, for one who may be overconfident. For someone who has a good sense of balance, physically and mentally, decently quick reaction times, again both mind and body and loves adrenaline but also has reasonable grasp of common sense: I wholeheartedly recommend the Luna Apocalypse V3!

If I could give a 1000 stars I would. This kit is great first off. Luna cycles really does a great job at making it better than the actual cyclone company does(my friend has one, mines much better) with the mounting and all. Second off the company it’s self is fantastic. I had my controller break the other day, the staff helped me make sure I got the right controller and shipped me the controller free of charge from California to NC extremely fast. I would only order the kit from Luna. This motor is great and the company is even better. 100% will recommend too anyone I know who is interested in E-bikes!
