I had to use my medical alert last week. I was using the computer and became dizzy and nauseated. I got down on the floor so I could drawl to the bathroom and passed out. When I woke up couldn't figure out where I was and I was soaking wet with perspiration. I pressed my medical care alert button and soon had 2 family members along with the medical team. I have worn my medical care pendant for a year but it was there when I needed it. I was very thankful.

That was our first "test" of the fall detection aspect of the system, which is extremely important to us - falls are our biggest concern. My reason for returning my ELITE unit is that it would only stay charged for 1 1/2 days. That meant I would have to have a charging unit at home and in my car and charge it every night. That is all time when I could not be wearing the unit. It would be great if there were a better way of keeping the battery charged.

i've had problems with my medical care alert.in the last two weeks, i have had the responder tell me to put it on the recharge unit between 7:30 and 8 pm. that's not OK. It needs to be available in the evening before I go to bed. I've called but no satisfactory answers ....
