My plan was to build up my Henry .357 to a more modern looking and slick range gun. After my parts arrived, I realized I didn't know how complicated the handguard build would be. It took a few days and much patience, but I got it done. Very happy with how things came out!

Very pleased with the muzzle brake… I do wish it wasn’t polished bright & had the Satin finish to match satin finish on the Marlin 1895 Trapper SBL. I will remove the shine to match & all good.

Thanks for your feedback! Every Marlin Trapper starts as an SBL and then the metal is glass bead blasted to dull it and remove the polish. This blast adds tiny holes to the metal which can result in it rusting more quickly. We decided to keep the integrity of the stainless and only offer two versions of the brake: polished for an SBR and Black Nitride Coated for the Trapper and Dark's.

I installed several RPP parts onto my old, trusty Marlin 1895, but by far my favorite is this trigger. It is exactly as advertised. It is crisp, breaks like shattering glass, has no take-up, and slips the sear routinely at just a hair over 3 pounds. I have had no issues whatsoever. It was easy to install as well! Only took about 5 minutes from scratch.

I’m a newbie to firearms, but not to modification/build projects, so I figured I’d try to make my first/only rifle (Henry Big Boy X, 357mag) into a blue-state-compliant “do-it-all” lever action rifle and the RPP costa parts were exactly what I needed to get started. The ‘Root Beer’ color paired with the tactical fit and feel is just right blend of “classic, yet tactical” for my taste. I couldn’t be happier with the quality and machining of the parts as well.
I used photos/videos from other completed installs to help, but it was intuitive nonetheless. As long as you’re patient when sanding/fitting the new tenon, you’ll be alright for the install.
Also, everything was shipped out and delivered faster than I’d expected.

Installed this in a 1973 Marlin 336 I had recently acquired with an abysmal ~7lb pull. The gun was a little bit grimy, granted, but this trigger without any spring changes brought the pull to a much better ~3lbs, and it is not hard to install at all if you have a bare minimum of mechanical ability.
Highly recommend this product for anyone who owns a Marlin.
