Marlin Trigger Silver
Installs correctly, but the tolerances are too wide for trigger reset. Custom hand stoning or sanding doesn't seem a wise answer with the fine sear spring setup on this trigger. I will not be using this part. Please indicate on your part page that this item does not work with the new Ruger Marlin 1894 series rifles.

Thank you for reaching out to us. We have seen a few Ruger-made Marlin lever guns with a smaller trigger guard opening then most. Their trigger guards are made +/- .030 - .050 and we sized our sear to fit the most possible. If you can't fit our sear into your trigger guard OR it fits but it's super tight and now the rifle is not functioning right, then you won't be able to use our part and will need to ship it back for a refund. Just got my handguard for christmas and it's AMAZING looking. The look and function is great, but now i need the buttstock! Order is on its way! Install took about 30 minutes-ish.

Love the new look of my Marlin 1894 with Ranger Point Precision parts. Everything went together pretty good. The trigger is a huge improvement over the factory. Putting the Ranger Point trigger in was a little tight since the rifle was new. The new trigger needed a little sanding on the sides to get a smooth pull, nothing that is seen because it's inside the gun. I'm not a fan of the new barrel band because you have to tighten a set screw onto the top of your barrel. If you ever. decide to go back to the factory furniture then you'll see a mark from that set screw. Over all I'm very happy with the fit and finish of the gun and how everything went together. I love the color of the root beer furniture. Everyone that see my Marlin falls in love with it.

Installed for a customer, went from a decent 4lb pull with flop to a 1.11lb pull with no flop. Shipping was entirely too much- just under 15.00 for a freaking trigger. That will drive me from getting it for anyone else. I contacted their customer support first before posting this... Find a cheaper way to ship and I will come back.

Glad you liked the trigger! We agree prices are high! UPS and Fedex had a 10% increase. US Postal Ground Advantage is less BUT they lose SO MANY packages and won't insure them. Hopefully better options for 2025.

I acquired Henry Big Boy 357 magnum and the firing pin is a part that really takes abuse in this and other firearms. New Henry will be fired a lot. Just cheap insurance to have an essential part. More substantial than I thought. Curious about lock time in Henry relative to Marlin. Trigger better on Henry. The action almost as smooth out of the box as my broken in Marlin 1894. Course the Marlin JM is 30 years old. Pays to have a replacement/complementary gun as well as parts for a single gun. Every gun you have should have a twin.
