A great addition to my Marlin!

Marlin Lever Quick Takedown Screws RP Logo | Stainless Steel
I ordered this item this fall as a great looking and what I will call a vital addition to my Marlin 1895 45-70. I learned the hard way last season why they came up with this idea. I had walked 3/4 of a mile back into the deer woods and decided to load my rifle. Upon inserting the last cartridge into the magazine, I Iet go too early and the spring force shoved the last cartridge back under the bolt and above the lever, now stuck and locked up. It became immediately apparent the only way I was going to clear this was to remove the lever. With no tool I was comfortable with to remove the lever takedown screw, I hiked back to my vehicle and improvised to get the job done and get back to hunting. With this Ranger Precision rounded star head takedown screw, you won't have to worry about not having a decent screwdriver.
Nice job, RPP! Now to acquire the lighter spring ramp.

Rifle Dovetail Sight Filler Blank (black nitride coated)
It did not fit the dove tail on my rifle is 1/4 inch
Response from Ranger Point Precision

Thanks for the feedback! The gentle curve of the filler is made to match the barrel curve. They won't always "fill the space" but the contour will come close to a match curve and it's a cleaner look than the larger fillers which bulge on top of the barrel and are 2X the price.

Comet Muzzle Brake, Marlin SBL 1894 44 mag Stainless Steel
I have two of these; one on my lSBL and another on my Trapper. The fit and finish is perfect and they function as advertised. Very noticeable decrease in recoil on both rifles. Shooting a box of ammo is a non event now as my shoulder is never sore afterwards. At 59 yo, products like these that make shooting more enjoyable are greatly appreciated.

The Ranger Point hand guard is a great upgrade for your lever action rifle. I own several lever actions and the one with the RPP hand guard is the one that gives me the best, most stable grip.

Marlin 1895 336 1894 Pistol Grip Stock (Black)
I bought this as a new gun project before I move down to Texas, I plan to start hog hunting and had an old, rarely used 336 and figured why not? So I bought the stock to try it out and it was greater than I had anticipated. Definitely worth the money and I can’t wait for the finished rifle.
