My experience so far has been great, the shipping on these parts were fast, and the quality is superior, never thought I’d have to whack my beautiful new Henry w a hammer but, once I got the original handgaurd loose, it was pretty common sense how to get everything back together, man does it look great w the Costa handgaurd and modular rail system.

Simply doesn’t work. Will not adjust far enough to the right and needs a taller front sight. Took it off and put it in my parts drawer.

Robert sorry to hear that it won't work on your rifle. If it won't work you're welcome to ship it back for a refund. Further, please note that when aligning sights both the front and rear sights normally need to be adjusted left/right (not only the rear).

The thumb screws were a welcomed addition to my almost fully "tricked out" Henry Big Boy 44 Mag. I've been considering adding an ammo sheath to the sling (after all, you can NEVER have enough ammo), but am hesitant, as I'm concerned with it slipping about on the sling during use. Also, I wrap my arm in my sling for my 3rd Anchor point, and am somewhat apprehensive about it being an impediment to that end.

Honestly, I bought this for my 30-30 X - looks cool, but I’ve never fired with it on. I use the suppressor. So I can’t say how effective it is. In my opinion I don’t think you need one for a 30-30 but everyone is different on recoil sensitivity, but it does look cool.

Originally I bought the Carlson’s Henry extension, had issues… read back of package and saw where I would have to mark the extension and file it down. Seriously? Who does this. Sorry, if Henry says it fits it should fit.
I ordered the RPP extension. At first I was concerned, the corners are pretty sharp. Once mounted and taken to the range I didn’t even notice.
