Rimfire 22 Lever Action Rifle Peep Sight
I recently purchased a Rimfire 22 lever action peep sight for my Rossi .22lr lever action rifle I use in lever action, open sights only silhouette matches. I ordered it with the peep sight option. It goes on the grooved receiver w/o any difficulty. I would rate is as a 5 star purchase except for one thing. In order to zero it at 50 yds, it just BARELY has enough elevation adjustment, and the elevation adjustment screw is very loose, which can easily lead to it falling out. The remedy of course is to get a taller front sight, which I did by ordering a Lyman hooded front sight set, which contained several apertures, including 2 different height front posts. If the elevation screw had some sort of a way to keep it from getting too loose, it would be the perfect sight.

I ordered the cloverleaf replacement to compare it to the traditional peep that I previously purchased. I found that the cloverleaf didn't offer as good a sight picture as the traditional. I'm going to stay with the traditional peep.

Perfect match to the new Ruger made Marlin 1895 stainless barrel profile and finish. Not gettting 5 stars because install direction/suggestion is to use blue loctite that wasn't included.
