Marlin Trigger Black
I installed this on the new Marlin 45/70 made by Ruger and the install was simple. It definitely lightened the trigger pull to a more acceptable pull weight.

First. Thank you very much RPP for your great work and your patience sending me the parts. It was a great time tinkering around on the rifles. And they are not finished yet. One thing I had to mention. The barrelband on the Rossi is very loose. I hope it does not matter. One more time. Thank you.

Marlin Rossi 95 Lever Rifle Peep Sight Brass
So glad I dropped the optic rail and went with this rear sight. Big apiture works great even with these 60 yo eyes.

Marlin Smith and Wesson 1854 Safety Delete (black)
Works great. Drop in fit. No gunsmithing. Excellent way to eliminate useless crossbolt safety. These are cheap at twice the price.

Front bead too small diameter to pick up quickly. Did not like the way too small base. Not using this sight at all.

Rifle Dovetail Sight Filler Blank (black nitride coated)
I used the filler blank on a Marlin 1894 44mag that I use for competition. I installed the blank per the instructions and it has not come loose. I have recieved several comments on how much nicer the blank is compared to other options.

Marlin Rossi 95 Lever Rifle Peep Sight Brass
The sight does not adjust low enough. I was wanting to zero in 170gr factory loads at 50yards but was hitting 6” high at the lowest adjustment. Unfortunately for me I waited a couple months after buying to go to the range and cannot return it. Other than this issue it appears to be well made. If it works for your gun it would probably be a great sight.

Michael - We do find that some Henry rifles don't work well with a receiver mounted rear sight. Something to do with how the barrel and receiver are aligned. if it won't work for you, please feel free to ship it back for a full refund.
