Installation of the plunger was a little figety. I had to take a small burr off the hole in the lever so that it wouldn't hang up. Palo Verde Gun Works BL cover fit perfectly.

You cant beat the versatility of this rail and built in peep sight. Very well made and fits like a dream on the rifle. Cloverleaf aperture is great for letting in light without sacrificing accuracy.

I'm sure the extracter itself is an improvement, but can't say for sure. The punch included bent and broke with little percussion from a hammer. Will purchase a punch set and see how it goes... New gun not all gummed up and heat influenced... Kinda disappointed...

The new site required fitting. I am not a gunsmith but I was able to install the Ranger Point fiber optic front site with the aid of 1/4" brass rod for a punch, a small hammer (like a tack hammer) a digital caliper, a precision 3 corner file and a Dremel with a small sanding disk. By taking my time and frequent checking I was able to achieve the same fit as the original site and perfectly centered.

Great way to customize your Marlin lever rifle. Got the red front sight when I got the CloverLeaf Adjustable Peep Sight with 5" Picatinny Rail Scope Mount, Loading Gate Spring, Trigger and Quick Takedown Screw. The quality of the parts are second to none. Installation was a breeze, just the front sight needed some fitting. Now loading the mag is super easy, sight picture acquisition is really quick and the trigger is "slop less". Haven't had the chance to test it at the range but I'm sure it will be awesome. Next on the list are the filler blank for the barrel and a new lever with an optimized loop.
